This is Governor Dapo Abiodun providing leadership in Ogun State in time of critical need. The big question is what is San-Olu doing in Lagos?
I voted this man and I have no apology to anyone for voting San-Olu but he has to wake up. Why is he not talking about converting the BRT buses to CNG powered buses? Why is th wildly celebrated Blue rail train not available in times like this? Didn't it occur to him that this is an opportunity to score huge political point by making it very easy for people to move around? Isn't it a way of support PBAT at the centre when subsidy has just been removed and people are languishing in poverty and pain?
It is in difficult time we know good friend and it is also in difficult times we know good governance/governors.
Almost all the inner town roads are in very appalling states, go to Anthony, Ikosi Ketu or Ikorodu etc the LGA have stopped working! Transportation is a nightmare, bad roads, not vehicle high cost of transportation.

This was one of the biggest hits of 1990. . .but not for Prince.


You see, Prince originally wrote and composed this song for one of his protege groups in 1984, but it didn't make any impact. Then Sinead O'Connor covered the song in 1990 and it became the 3rd biggest hit of 1990. It was at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for 4 weeks. It had a very strange and unusual video and that video got heavy rotation on MTV. Prince later released a version of the song in 1993.

I'm a bit confused because there were rumours in the 1990s that Prince was dating Sinead and that was why he allowed her to cover the song. However, Sinead gave a totally different story when she was interviewed last year (2019).

Sinead said that she didn't really know Prince and that she only met him a few times and that they fought when they met.

She said Prince invited her to his house. She said that Prince was angry that she was not yet a protege of his and he also told her to stop swearing in his interviews. He said that her language was very dirty. She said that she's an Irish girl and the Irish are known for swearing and so she told him to f***k off. She said that he got violent and they started fighting. She said she had to escape through the back of the house that night and that he chased her with his car.


Anyway, a lot of people have covered this song since then. I listen to the version by Massivo and Tracy every morning when I work out on the bridge.

The best thing to do, is to find solution for the high cost of living, once everyone diverts to gas, demand for gas will be high, the demand before you know it, the price will not be favorable anymore, , let our so call leader find a away out of this mess, this is no country 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 any more, we were still surviving with subsidy, I don't know about this. Stage we are.
