Just 1 month salary MDAs which account for 80% of Abia workforce. Secondary school teachers 3 months while primary school teachers are owed 2 months. Yes I say to truth even when it does not favour me. The good news is that once the next Paris refund comes, all the outstanding would be cleared. Transparency is our motto

The Chief press secretary to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu reacted thus:

On this Uche Ogah's Masters Rice fraud issue, I don't talk to journalists

I don't know why some journalists colleagues of mine can't just mind their business.
What is my concern with Uche Ogah's attempt to cheat government by smuggling 30 container of masters rice, which he declared as yeasts in the Form M he used for the importation?
Uche Ogah is a business man who knows how to smuggle anything he wants to smuggle into nigeria.
He is not the first and will certainly not be the last.
Why are some journalists calling to ask for my reaction on the seized of 30 container of rice which our brother Uche Ogah was trying to smuggle into the country before customs catch up with him?
Whether he declared in the form M of the importation that he was importing yeasts when in actual fact he was importing masters rice, that is his business with the customs.
And I am sure that if he shakes their hands well, they will ask him to go, after all this is not his first time.
No be Nigeria Customs?
As a journalist, I know that there is harmonized system (Hs) payment of 10% duty and 50% levy for rice importation and harmonized system (Hs) payment of 5% duty and 5% VAT for yeasts importation.
As a 'smart' Nigeria importer, and as his custom is, Uche Ogah was acting fraudulently by declaring that he was importing yeasts in other to evade the payment of the 10% duty and 50 % levy for rice, and as a fuel subsidy expert, Ogah knows how to smuggle his way, that was why he declared in the form M of the importation of the Masters Rice, that it was yeasts, so he can pay 5 % duty and 5 % vat which actually meant for yeasts.
But like they will say in Isiko, everyday is for the thief, one day is for the owner.
Please dear journalists, when you have story on Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, call me for my response.
But on this case, kindly call my brother Monday Onyekachi Ubani, he is the right person to respond.
On this issue, I don't talk to the press. Thank you.

That is why he has been paying through the nose just to be the governor so that immunity would cover him,but he has failed this time around. No fraudster will be allowed to rule Abia State. All the criminals campaigned with how much stolen money they got but Dr Ikpeazu just told Abians the hard truth they wanted to hear and he was massively voted in. Today Abians are smiling as the state is witnessing a kind of progress that it never had in the past.
You mean paying the judges with workers salary??

My dear, forget that side cos we know who is really paying if there is anyone paying...

Politics5 Things I Learnt From Dino Melaye's Result saga by Nasa28(op):
For some time now, Dino melaye has been in the news, this Time around, not fighting the executive government, or defending the masses, but he has been trying to save his image and reputation that Sahara reporters have rubbished. The following are some of the things I have learnt.

1. Never pretend or boast in life.

Whether you have those things or not, do not boast. Although it is pride that makes us to boast, so we have to fight every atom of pride in us.
Looking at Dino Melaye, we would understand that some of those results he claimed to have (especially from foreign schools) may still not be true, but due to arrogance and pride, he made us believe he has up-to 6 degrees from different universities.

2. Never rely on spoken or boastful words.

I don't know whether I'm correct, but it seems Sahara reporters relied on Melaye's spoken words to attack or carry out their investigative journalism because I do not think those other results were documented. So it seems you can't hold him accountable if they end up to be a lie.

Anybody can wake up any day and tell you he graduated from Harvard University.

3. You must respect people's view no matter their ethnic group.

It was obvious, and felt sad when I read how our brothers from the north and west bashed on one nnamani both on twitter and NL because he showed his support for Dino. I don't really understand why it was so...

We all have our beliefs and choices in life. We choose who to support and who not to support. Many things can lead to our decisions which may not be necessary to pen down here.... So whether Igbo or Yoruba or Hausa, I think we all have our own views cos others were as wrong as Nnamani.

4. Never be too quick to judge.

In life, I have come to realize that it is easier to judge others. So easy. But since I have been following this Dino closely, I have come to know that judging people without proof is never fair.

5. People believe what they want no matter what.

Even when the vice chancellor of ABU has come up to tell the whole world that the senator graduated from the school, some people didn't still believe. Dino shared his NYSC discharge certificate, some people started pointing out some things that made them feel it was also forged.

Just recently, one Adewale came on twitter to show the whole world his own discharge certificate which is similar to that of senator Dino Melaye, yet many people didn't believe him. Some were like asking the man whether he's doing it because of money...

Anyway, I drop my own here, you can add yours..

Pls no name calling

Scottish men do not wear skirts. People of Scottish heritage wear kilts as a symbol of pride for the clan to which they belong. Kilts are part of the national dress of Scotland

So as Igbo men tie wrapper, will you call it skirt?

I believe what is bad is bad no matter who does it.

We should be done with this kind of argument and move on to weightier things.....

Let us always go after what the Bible says and not what our pastors says.

The question is this: Should a man wear skirt of gown?

If yes, then I think it's Good for a woman to wear
Trousers

Our problem is that we know the truth but are not ready to do it because we have set before us the stumbling block of our iniquities

Ezekiel 14:3-4

KJV:Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?
4
KJV:Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the Lord will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols
