Today at the Supreme Court holding in Abuja, the sworn in member elect through the court of appeal was sacked.
Hon Kabiru Adjoto was the immediate past EDHA speaker and a known ally of the current Governor of Edo state Obaseki. He was once a favoured son of the National Chairman, Oshiomole until he decided to pinch tent with Obaseki who opened the state treasury to him take as much money he wants.
The battle started on 6th October, 2018 when APC conducted it's primaries in the state and Hon Akpatason won but Hon Adjoto lost but choose to go to court because he has the backing of Gov Obaseki.
The case was struck out at the High Court because he didn't exhust all the party processes before approaching the court.
It's a known fact that he purchased the court of appeal judgment in Benin to his favour even when the fact of the case was against him.
He was sworn in as a member of the House of representatives on 11th of June and sacked on 21st of June by the Supreme Court. He was a rep member for 10days.
Hon Peter Akpatason is a known gentle man who was the former President of Nupeng for 8years and this victory has confirmed him a third termer and the leader of South South cacus of the House of representatives.
He is a strong loyalist to Comrade Oshiomole and a philanthropist to his people.
He contested the General Elections and won gallantly all the 10 wards.
