Big congratulations to all new mamas in the house. Kisses to your LO from mua. Reading backwards might be impossible. Just came back from Isrealite journey via emirates. Houston was stress free in and out. Went with all my zero balance receipts and nobody asked for it.

QUTEE:
Hello All.
First time posting here, however, i have been in reading mode for a while. Got into Houston a week ago.
I have a B1/B2 Visa expiring nxt year and used it for vacation before. Did the notification email and got the normal response. So here goes my POE Interview.

CBP: Hello
Me: Hi .... *Tired face and voice
CBP: Can i have your landing card
* hands it over to him
CBP: what kind of food stuff do you have
Me: Nigerian foods, cereal, dried fish Rice
CBP: okay. Who stays at this address
Me:Friend of the Family
CBP: How long are you staying this time
Me: 8 weeks. I'm here to have my baby.
CBP: oh! I see. Do you have money to cover your bills
Me. Yes I do. Asks me to show him the cash 8k and i showed him but he didn't count it.
Then he stamps me in for 6 months and tells me to ensure i pay my bills and not take any form of insurance all in less than 3 minutes.
That was how i walked Majestically to retrieve my boxes and head to my destination.

Thank you all for this thread... you don't know how much it helps.
Cc@ justwise, Modath, nefertitiram, firstymum, Nasadiva, LadyG, Ozycy, Ajokegold etc... The list is long abeg.
P.S. Can anyone give me their experience on Soulcare and Soj Urban Living and which is most recommended . I'm using DR E.

Thank you.
Sorry for late reply. I used SOJ but I am sorry I won't recommend for personal reasons. You can give it a try if you wish, may be you will have a better experience than I did.

one question please if i'm paying in USD am I using a dollar card or paying usd cash into their account or paying with a naira denominated card and they take the money off the card as per usd rate of the day?
Before paying in USD, why don't you first find out from the airline their exchange rate. Last I checked, their rate is cheaper than the bank conversion rate.

Thanks so much i really appreciate. At the stage of filling the contact person in the US.
She will be using Doctores Para Ti and i have the name and number of the contact person over there,
but there is a space for the relationship with the contact person. Will i select others or Business?.

2ndly my wife's relative stays in New Jersey and have sent invitation letter to for us......Please will i
have to fill it also in the form ?. We ain't staying there but will only visit b4 we travel back to Naija.

Please i need more info as regards to this. Thanks ......
Hmmmm, I suggest you stick to one. This pple don't like complicated stories. If you are using doctors letter do so all through, if you are using invitation (for child birth? ) do so all through too.

Haba. It wasn't so bad. Flew them to the UK and it was okay. Like Arik. But the lost my luggage on the return for 1 day and it was torn when I finally got it. angry
Sweetie, our experience with them mustn't be same. I flew them to Madrid and it's one of my worst mistake in terms of travel till date. Infact hubby still make fun of me about it till 2moro. Initially when the flight took off, the lady beside brought out her Agege bread, I laughed seriously within me, but soonest I realized she is a regular with them. We were served apple pie as food from Lagos to Casablanca, yes APPLE PIE! For those that are used to comfort flying, Pls stay off. My 2 cent though.

NICS pple are big fraud. They did same to me and Dr E fought it out for me, I shared my experience earlier. Even after they accepted they did not attend the birth as they claimed, and apologized for billing so, they continued with their threat for the balance of service they didn't render. Please ignore their numerous threat and continue to pursue what you think is the right bill.

Oh no! We got them just yesterday. Before then, I gave him no peace and told him he will get triple of the stress he has put my babies. He became offensive. Paid 75 dollars to collect them after I paid him in the US. The woman said he didn't pay her a dime. So sorry for the wahala he has put you through.
Paid 140 dollars here for mine after I paid him almost double of that in the US. He will soon have encounter with all the gods' of vengeance.
