Yep. Wanted to use Northwest but the distance when I went for first appointment made me to make a quick U turn.

My first appointment is next week Tuesday. I spoke to her yday n she said her office will be closed today n monday. Glad i chose her den cos I was a little bit skeptical since I didn't know anyone else using her
My next appointment is Wednesday. I know two pple that have used her and they had all positive things to say. She is not so young and will make you feel at home. My accommodation is very close to her and the hospital so I kinda feel safe. PM me for a hint.

please can you explain the bolded part?

did you buy the BTA when you got to POE with travelex on your card or you went to travelex office here to buy the BTA? did they stamp at the back of your passport if you bought it at their office here?
Bought at travelex off @ MM INTL LAGOS. They stamped my passport. You need certificate of incorporation and a letter from the company nominating you to buy BTA, ur ticket and pp just like bank.

@ NERF congratulation dear, so happy for you. My kisses to our princess.

POE STORY. POE WAS DALLAS, YES I CHOP CHICKEN LIVER WHEN IT COMES TO FLYING DIRECT TO HOUSTON grin grin
Got to Dallas with Emirates. Connecting to my onward flight in Dubai was stressful cos we landed less than an hour b4 our next flight so we were asked to wait at the foot of air craft and from there we practically ran all the way to the boarding gate. I requested for wheel chair b4 boarding for Dallas not knowing what to expect there too. I was d only preggie but we were about 40 9jas on the flight.
CBP: hello good morning
ME: Good morning sir, handed my passport to him
CBP: where are you going?
ME: Houston
CBP: Why Houston?
ME: Cos that's where I wish to go this time.
CBP: how long are you staying?
ME: 8 weeks
CBP: 8 weeks! Why 8 weeks are you pregnant?
ME: yes ( he stood up to confirm)
CBP: So you re going to give birth in Houston
ME: yes
CBP: how much do you have?
ME: 8003 dollars.
CBP: what are you u going to do with 8000
ME: pay my bills
CBP: How much is ur hospital bill
ME: about 5500
CBP: ok place your right fingers on the screen. And he stamped me in for 6 months,no secondary inspection, and was wheeled to agriculture, nothing was seized, my bags were passed through the scanner and I had chicken indomie and chicken and beef knorr with dry fish, dry leaves, stock fish, egusi etc.
So let me continue sipping my agbalomo juice grin

After dancing kirikata, grin kindly come back and give us your POE gist. Which accommodation did you finally settle with? Soulcr or SOJ? Ehe pls who have bought PTA of recent?
grin grin. I am back to answer your questions, I settled for Spring of Joy and I am enjoying every bit of it.( I know u ll say u tot I am on budget), yes it's better for me on the long run. I bought BTA ( 5000 usd) from travelex at the airport with no hassle after Access bank frustrated my life for two days over reactivation of my dormant acc at 203.98 but Access rate was 199.5 plus 1% charge and 5% of the 1% as VAT.

Does that 1450 covers For Food? Utility? Nd all? because I got a better deal wanna compare tho mayb I'm on track. It's in Houston

It covers utility but not food. Pls can u share your deal? U can PM me if you wish.
ozycy:
Ask @ lollyberry, he contacted them sometime ago but there price was so high. Are they same pple with "urban living...."? I guess you want to use houston North west hospital. I actually wanted to use them but nobody is offering accommodation close to them except hotels, and I can't afford to be lonely since am going alone, so I had to switch. Buses ply that route from soulcr but e go be missionary journey cos you have to take about 3buses to get der for appointments.
Thanks. Their price is inclusive of food and groceries though.

Hello Houston mamas, pls any one with Spring of Joy living accommodation experience? I am really torn bw that and soulcare, but soul care package that makes sense to me is that of 1450 but does not take care of my transportation to my hospital due to distance. I am scared of making wrong choice. Pls Houston mamas helpppppppppp!

good day house
happy sunday to all.
please o, for this birthing journey. i booked appointment for B2 visa- tourism/medical ( hadnt submitted ds160 form then). someone later told me it should be B1/B2. i changed it to B1/B2 on ds160 before submitting. i called the embassy and explained. they said i should scan my documents to them to update the appointment confirmation & resend me a new one. when i did so, i got a response that i shld cancel & rebook appointment. this contradicts what the person on phone told me.
my question is; is this disparity a deal breaker on appointment day or not. has anyone had this kinda issue
please assist
thank you
Sorry oo I am going to chastise you. You see why we ve been begging you read previous posts as a family? I pray you don't make another silly mistake that might cost u ur visa. My 2 cent is don't change the class of visa at this point cos u might not get a closer date, stick to B1/B2 cos it still covers your purpose.
