You can come from the Southern, Northern, Eastern or Western part of the country, you can be a Christian, a Muslim or atheist or you can even claim that your own part of the country is relatively calm and devoid or terrorist attack. But one hard truth is that an attack or mayhem in one part of the country has the propensity of affecting every other part of the country directly or indirectly; can be by economic imbalance or by direct movement of terrorist to carry out attack on other parts of the country; if you like "Shout if dem try am we go kill dem finish, but the thing is that these terrorist have already made up their minds to die and they have almost nothing to lose (atleast for their mind), but what about you with bright future and expectations.

Politics, Religion and tribe aside, day in day out, men and women of the Gallant Nigerian Military are in the battle field, the deepest of forest fighting for our right to have a save nation, a country we can call ours so our children and their children will have a place to call home and not become slaves in a foreign land.

These officers are men and women like us with families, dreams and hopes but they put their lives on the line to give us comfort, the least we can do is "Say Thank You Gallant Nigerian Military Officers. These is by far a proud Nigerian institution worthy of being Celebrated.

Let's forget the politics of who is sponsoring and using boko haram, the Military against who, only then you will realise that the real target is the common man because most of these politicians all have their families and investments abroad and have the means and resources to travel out of this country whenever it becomes uncomfortable for them.
Please we are first Nigerians and we should stand by those that fight for the sustenance of our existence.

Things took a different turn from the usual friendly atmosphere at the Bonny Heliport yesterday the 30th of Jan 2015, when a military man shot a lady to death at her private part, then killed himself. It was gathered that the wife of the deceased officer is pregnant and went for her usual anti-natal when it was discover that she is HIV positive, immediately she was told, she called up the husband with the sad news. On hearing this, the husband who called another officer to excort him somewhere but while the ignorant officer kept delaying, he got pissed and tired of waiting and left alone. Got to the heliport where the lady works, called her out, when she came, he bursted with anger on how she gave him the dreaded virus and had ruined his life, unknown to the lady, he triggered his gun and fired her at her private part and then shot himself. She died instantly while he died on the way to NLNG Hospital.
