junebaby:

Hi dear, it was silence till then, however I called them to twice.

The first was to confirm it has been gotten and pouched to the UK...I was so emotional about it that the lady promised to call me back for the confirmation.. Since she could not pull out the information and she did.

2nd time, was to find out if they were done..

Had to follow up because of a previous experience.

[Qquote author=Natalie27 post=73379962]Congrats

I believe that’s Ajose branch
Travel / Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Natalie27: 6:58pm On Nov 25, 2018
I believe that Ajose branch
eclectic139:

Yeah GTB refused. said its only school n co they give. I was surprised when Access agreed and was still prepared to be rejected when the Customer Service lady went up stairs to confirm with my documents. But she came down n asked me to come back a few a hours later. I got the debit at work n went back to pick it up. Try the branch I used.. Its the branch near Pal Pensions on that Zenith bank road in V.I after GTB if you are going towards Dominos or that VCP (not sure of the name) hotel.
Travel / Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Natalie27: 6:56pm On Nov 25, 2018
Exactly , it’s easy for a customer care representative to turn you back without calling the trade team or contacting his or her supervisor and you get 4K max if you use an individual account and 5k if it’s corporate
jydexaus:
You can actually get PTA on a one way ticket in any bank provided the person attending to you knows what he/she is doing. what i mean is that you may get it in a branch of a particular bank and you get to another branch and it will be another story. I bought mine in Zenith bank abeokuta then and i know of other branches of teh same zenith that wouldnt sell. My advice is for you to ask at any bank you are using and you may be able to get it if the person in charge knows the right thing.

You can even get it the Day you intend to travel as long as all documents required are intact and you get to the banking hall before 10am and your flight is scheduled towards night time
eclectic139:

Have tried getting PTA? Access Bank gave PTA for PR in June. You have to be about 2 weeks from your travel date or so. If its not too late that could also help.

You might need to use the CIC form and let us know how it goes so others might learn.
Nobody has posted on this thread getting refund directly from Canada.ca.

PS: The refund is only for those who paid HST back in the days. WES now allows you to avoid paying it.

cc:savagebanker

I was among does that paid “back in the days “ by the time I realised that I could get a refund which was May this year WES had already started sending that link as response to one’s query bad till date no one has been able to successfully get a refund by filling does lengthy forms with tiny words....
