Lol, a man's got to do what a man's got to do. I left in a hurry on Monday evening, when the demos were just starting, because we were hearing rumours of blocked roads and riots, so I just grabbed what I'd already packed and we left, forgetting a few things.

The protest is getting stronger and i suspect the airports themselves might be their next target.
Abuja airport road was completely blocked yesterday. Lagos airport access tollgate was also blocked.
I just managed to make it through Oshodi-Airport road yesterday evening to catch my BA flight to London.
My suggestion; leave very early. If you stay on the island, make sure you cross either Ikoyi toll or Lekki toll before 6am like I did.

Anyone travelled from Lagos airport in the last 2 days? How did you manage to get in? These #endsars guys are not playing. Thinking of going to MMIA a day before sef and sleeping there

BTW wakanow guys are so wonderful. I booked 2 days to my trip for 238k.

this thread is better than any group chat you can ever create. if not for what i saw here i would have been wasting airfare or transport from benin to abuja now to go and pick up my passport because i was told by an agent of all people that i couldnt pay for courier after i had done biometric but i saw here that it was possible and i did. a week after... just got a message now that my passport has been sent to the courier company from tls

It has been with them this whole time. i paid for courier but i wont even wait. first bus tomorrow from benin to abuja

Till this minute no information, no decision mail or collection mail.

UKVI is really stressing us with this wait...they claim it’s the covid suitation there and they are taking precautions at the home office observing social distance.
