Sirchiboy:So what’s your actual plan? If you’re thinking of going the baby mama route, just know it usually comes with more complications than being legally married. It might look easier on the surface, but in reality it can create even bigger issues on the long run. There are genuinely good women out there, men just love making the wrong choices and complain about how bad marriage is. And about living with your ex for six months, you and I know that the whole arrangement was built around sex, not real compatibility. That’s why you eventually felt empty and bored. |
So throughout the entire period that the SIM was with the kidnappers, DSS couldn’t trace or arrest them. But the moment the criminals dumped the SIM and an innocent citizen unknowingly bought it, they suddenly mobilised and swooped on him like he’s the mastermind. How does this even make sense? This country will frustrate and jail you for crimes you didn’t commit, while the real perpetrators walk free. |
The rule of the thumb is that when dealing with Nigerian mechanics, it’s usually not a good idea to drop your car at their workshop and leave. Cos once you’re not there, they often shift their attention to customers who are physically present. There's also the possibility of your car being rough handled, they might take it to club and give it serious scratches or even crash it. It can also be vandalized if the area they parked it isn't properly secured. What has always worked for me is asking the mechanic to come to my house to do the work. That way, I can monitor the progress since it's my house. It also makes him more focused on the job cos he'll want to return back to his shop before the end of the day. For your current situation, I'll suggest that you report the issue to their union chairman. (All mechanics belong to a local association that covers a particular area), and they have a chairman who usually helps settle disputes like yours and can instruct the mechanic to refund you if necessary. In case of next time, try arranging for the mechanic to come to your house to handle the repair. It helps you keep things under control and reduces stress. |
spyglaxx:Sure. You can install CCTV cameras around the spots where you place the traps and connect them to your phone. That way, whenever you wake up, you can just check the live footage to see if anything has been caught. |
USA 0.4%, that's a lie from the pit of hell. |
Ishilove:Lol. You wan use depression finish am ba? 🤣 |
Is he expecting us to feel sorry for him for a marriage that isn't even up to a year? Biko he should enjoy his new bride and home. |
pocohantas:I was of the opinion that it was per year especially after my initial post with the onitsha guy. |
SpencerForbes:So you've shifted the goal post to per month, not per year. Like I said earlier, de play. You'll tell me where in Nigeria you'll rent a room for 7k per year. |
SpencerForbes:You mean Oshodi under bridge, de play. |
ukaface:It obviously didn’t happen three years ago. He just rushed to say that so Nairalanders won’t roast him for dating a small girl. If it really happened that long, he wouldn’t be remembering every detail with HD clarity. This thing is clearly recent. |
Tailorcaesar:So technically you pay 7k per room for a year. Bro, in 2018. A room in my village was 12k per year. And you want me to believe that in 2025, a landlord in onitsha of all places would collect 14k for 2 rooms every year from you. What do you want him to use that money for? Abeg sufry de lie. |
I'm an Igbo and not a fan of Reno. but I must admit that he has insulted Tinubu more than igbos. He doesn't even insult igbos, he just trolls them and incite hate speech. If you go through his insults on Tinubu, you won't even talk sef.
|
GloriousGbola:What he did is just copy and paste. He's clearly far from reality. |
Tailorcaesar:Do you even know what you're saying? If someone earns 40k monthly and pays 400k for rent like you said, that’s 10 month's salary gone. How exactly is that cheap? If you have to save for 10 months before paying your rent, how exactly are you going to survive? And we've not even talked about electricity bills, repairs, and all the little compulsory payments that come up in most compounds. Back in Buhari’s time when fuel was 165, things were different. A a 100k salary was fairly ok, cos a standard 2-bedroom, all-ensuite in Abakaliki was around 200k–250k in 2020. Now that same apartment is 700k–1m. So your calculations don’t actually reflect the current reality at all. |

Welcome to Nigeria. Where loyalty is more important than integrity. |
And the kidnapped victims are right there sitting on the floor, yet he's negotiating with them. Probably trying to bargain the ransom with them. This country is finished. |
Dialpad:Did you actually read the post at all? He was the one indicted, yet it’s his aides who are currently in detention. If he was fingered in the coup plot, then due process requires him to answer for the charges. Not people around him who simply happen to work under his authority. Holding the aides while the principal actor remains untouched is wrong on every level: legally, morally, and administratively. |
It's all over folks. Manutd has secured a well earning Victory over Crystal palace. 3 points in the bag. |
OBIDIENTNAIJA:Lucky? Admit it. We were the better team today. |
OBIDIENTNAIJA:You were saying? |
