@NBA

Sir, Abeg are we supposed to go for the Strong Bid, Stong Offer, Or Weak Bid?

Please advice
@Clickdeoye

They are not recommendations, just showing what happened in the market today - Strong Bid means lots of buyers and Strong Offer means lots of sellers.

No candidate is perfect but Obama stands out from the crop running. Win or loose he is making history (we are witnesses) and inspiring a whole generation.

Like he said, "I had a dream" just words?

The alternative is Grandpa who will keep us in Iraq for 100 years, blow up Iran, and all the macho nonsense that make rednecks tick. Can't wait for Grandpa to state his real immigration position make you see as republicans go finish am. I hope Obama has the kahunas not to take public finance, he can raise so much more usually a republican thing- we suppose send am some NSE dough sef grin.

Barack Obama cruised past a fading Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Wisconsin primary Tuesday night, gaining the upper hand in a Democratic presidential race for the ages. It was Obama's ninth straight victory over the past three weeks, and left the former first lady in desperate need of a comeback in a race she long commanded as front-runner.

YIKES! Billary folks  - PELE O! cry cry cry

Grandpa McCain's boring victory speech was painful to watch. It was way past his bedtime.

Nigeria vows to triple power generation in 18 months
Tue 19 Feb 2008, 17:01 GMT

The old National Electric Power Authority (NEPA), popularly known as Never Expect Power Always, was renamed the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) which Nigerians promptly started calling Problem Has Changed Name.

LOL!  grin
may be old news to some but I never heard the new nickname.

Wasky-Waja: May I suggest you put up an email addy so that some who may want to recommend stocks for you do so via email? My suggestion is based on the fact that some might not want to broadcast their stock choices for fear of deep pockets and the eventual scarcity of the stock.

HABA!

This goes against the spirit of this thread na. How many emails a day should the guru's respond to?

Please let's share information openly and learn form each other.

I am having a similar issue with Cashcraft. I have been trying to make them reverse an unauthorised sale for weeks, no luck.

The fact is I stopped using them but need to slowly sell off my holdings. They really are not worth the hassle.

@Etin,

Hnmm, I wonder if the Diamond reach account being designated Savings (it does on the online portal) led to the confusion? Anyway, good to hear it worked out.

emotimi:

Samstone4, Gidij, Akpotgun, Stanchucks and other Naija based colleagues in the house, please provide hints on the question below and let's keep praying for Obama's success and protection.

I have a local current account with UBA and I am considering opening a stock broking account with them. My initial thought was that I would be able to use my existing UBA current account to fund my stock broking account. The UBA representative insisted on me opening an NRN account before they can process a stock broking account for me.

Gurus in the house, is this normal or another of UBA's ploy to make me pay double running two different accounts with them? Please every contribution based on previous related experiences, no matter how small, will be appreciated.

@emotomi
UBA is trying to package the NRN deal with the Stockbroking for Non Resident Nigerians. However, I contacted the Stockbroking directly and they sent me an account number to fund the stockbroking account directly without NRN accounts.
