Joefat:
I had this friend as a doctor in one of the hospital in Lagos, he said why we have must cases in Nigeria is because, any nurse or hospital that reported one Covid 19 patient are entitled to 20k per patient and if you have one Covid 19 death in your hospital, you're entitled to 100k per one Covid 19 patient.. this benefits are directly from FG.. but I don't know how true this was..
Na lie... U lots shld jus stop spreading pathetic lies

GeoAfrikana:
Government officials would be more appropriate.

The official Nigerian system and constitution isn't very difficult.

The difficulty in the country is the people in charge of interpreting and executing the constitution. They are greedy, self-centered and have virtually no public interest at heart.

Irrespective of their religion or tribe, a typical Nigerian in government work doesn't know the difference between his salary and public funds.
Exactly... Everyone in public office finds a way to monetize their positions

Jus like someone pointed out, China and india alone make up a huge chunk of world's population and would have even grown far more than dey are now if not for childbirth controls. All blacks know how to do is sex and giving birth.. Imagine if d Chinese and other Asians didnt restrict or put a control to d number of children dey can have

ThierryJay:
It amazes me that a high number of Nigerians still believe that COVID-19 is a scam. Scam that has killed Abba Kyari, Maikanti Baru, President of Burundi, Tinubu's ADC and now Senator Osinowo. Scam that has almost killed Nasir El-Rufai, Governor Ikpeazu, and now Senator Ajimobi. Will all these notable people willingly sacrifice their lives for the so called financial benefit from Covid 19? Logic requires that if it is a scam, then these guys must have been willing participants in the process.

These dumb set of Nigerians
Aswear.. Very dumb lots... U know d govt doesn't give a rat's ass about u and yet U still want to toy with ur health and life simply becos U dont trust dem... Dat is d foolishness at it's peak

Fortissimo502:
Honestly this is why Nigeria remains backward. There are so many questions that can come to mind from a detailed investigation, namely:
1. What if the woman threw the baby?
2. What if there were supposed to be safety features in the building to prevent something like this? I'm honestly wondering how they were so close to a window or whatever opening the baby fell out of.
3. How can something like this be prevented?

Omo the intellectual laziness of Nigerians is really heartbreaking. People will keep dying needless deaths and living substandard lives until they start asking questions and digging for the truth.
Sometimes we want to sound politically correct in dis parts with our opinions and assertions while ignoring d realities on ground
