decatalyst: People just want to write something.
I wonder how selling an aircraft of 20yrs old, probably not being used often, becomes an issue again.
Nigerians can be controversial. Know it all. You were not born yet in 2015 when APC promised that it would convert all the aircraft in presidential fleet into a new Nigeria Airways, if the APC got elected to lead Nigeria. Tinubu founded APC. He has been a top driver of APC till today. And of course, you feign ignorance of the fact that Tinubu is selling this aircraft because he bought a new one. All contrary to the 2015 election promise by APC. |

Tinubu's APC led then by Muhammadu Buhari promised that if elected in 2015, all the aircraft of the presidency would be converted into Nigeria Airways fleet. Liars. |

If quasi 80 years old Atiku Abubakar is fielded by the ADC, it's win for president Tinubu. An American senator is still in jail from Atiku's Halliburton corruption case. Americans don't compromise on issues like that. |

Politics › Re: Amana State Movement Demands Creation Of New State by Nchenches: 12:00pm On Jul 06, 2025 |
DeOTR: I didn't remember the whole of Niger and Kogi were created from the same state. I agree that Kogi should have remained in Kwara or even Kwara should have been the Central West state it used to be. Northern military dictators sewed states like seeds all over the old Northern region because of land mass in order to enable more shares of crude oil to the old Northern region. Since then, so many people erroneously believe that land mass is criterion for states creation. |
Politics › Re: Amana State Movement Demands Creation Of New State by Nchenches: 8:34am On Jul 06, 2025 |
AntiChristian: We need more states o!
Niger state is the biggest state in Nigeria as it is larger than all the SE states combined. Yet we don't hear of any splits from them.
Na only small yansh wan twerk!
Borno state is about 71,000 km2.
Lagos about 3,350km2
Niger state - 76,370Km2
Na Lagos we all dey rush to! Land mass or population statistics is no yardstick to create federating units like states. How to share revenues from crude oil is not a yardstick either. Niger and Kogi States are supposed to remain in one state if viability was considered during state creation exercises by northern military dictators. |

Flame333: No matter how you see it, eight years to the North and same to the South.. if Tinubu had collected four from the South, do you expect Obi to tell the Northern politicians that he will rule for eight years after Tinubu.. I expected matured reasoning from this headline but am surprised at you guys... Agbadorians refuse to consider the fact that Nigeria zones its presidential seat between the north and the south. Now that Tinubu has failed woefully, and Obi is pledging to complete the remaining four years of the south, Agbadorians will cancel zoning. As if Tinubu would have become president without zoning principles. |

helinues:

But wait oo, are Peter Obi's supporters expecting the coalition to give him the party presidential ticket on a platter of gold? So you have seen that your principal, Tinubu, is no more sellable for 2nd term? If Buhari wanted, he could have made a northerner succeed him. When it comes to zoning in the south, you Agbadorians cancel zoning. Unknown to you people, no southerber can win presidential election in Nigeria if the north supports one northern presidential candidate. |

sleek214: That's very true. Only Atiku/Obi ticket can defeat Tinubu.... Apart from delusional obidients, the other people pushing Obi are all APC members/supporters... e.g. Festus Kayemo, saying Obi should not accept to be Atiku's VP, Datti, his brother left Tinubu govt, he (Datti) secretly joined and is pushing Obi to contest...Aisha Yesufu, a delusional obidient or perhaps she knows she won't get the cash and publicity she got at the last election..... Obi has already agreed with Atiku before the coalition was formed but am afraid some of these talk might get to his head and he will pull out.... seems obi is greatly influenced by his social media followers/ advisers Ha ha ha. Tinubu diehard supporters have abandoned Tinubu. So quickly? |
