I will suggest that you start with a plot of land as a beginner, master few techniques before expanding to one acre.

6 were affected by the disease on the leaves below, so i uprooted the 6 and planted another 6 on the heap i uprooted the affected once from.

This ur soil will require manure to do well..

Fresh manure would scorch the roots and kill them. You would have to wait for at a month.

To compost manure follow this step.

1. Get fresh manure
2. Heap it and add lots of water. Mix them with the water.
3. Cover with black polythene.
4. After two weeks, use a shovel to turn it, so the part under would now be on top.
5.add water again, then cover with the black polythene.
6. After another 2 weeks, it would be ready for use. It would not have any smell , just like charcoal smell.

You can use it to grow any vegetables with out fear of harming them.

is it chicken droppings manure or kitchen scraps compost ?

Everyone keeps saying boil, but I prefer to grind mine and ferment for about 24hours before use. I believe it keeps all active ingredients intact (Not proven, just my assumption. I could be wrong though)

Since I opted for organic garden (though I once used synthetic fertilizer 'urea' on the Corns), my cucumber needs to be treated too organically.

Time to make more neem leaves/fruits/seed blend and a half tea spoon of baking soda plus vegetable oil.

This will be my cucumber plant insecticide for next few weeks. Already seeing traces of green worms attack.

Note: I have come to this understanding, you can't run away from plant disease/pests. You must surely come to terms with this. So prepare yourself adequately else, every effort will go to waste.

Do you boil the neem leaves and seed or just ferment it ?
