SportsRe: Ghana 2008 Match: Nigeria Vs Mali by ndubest(m): 12:45pm On Jan 24, 2008
Our starting line up will definitely determine the pace of the game

if the likes of Kanu, Utaka and Apam are kept on the bench, may be will be deal with Mali

I wonder if Americans will ever do politics without name calling

your father, your mother, wife or husband etc

let them stick to issues and not personal attacks
SportsRe: Surprise:adebayor 2007 Bbc Footballer Of The Year by ndubest(m): 3:54pm On Jan 23, 2008
Aresnal fans and ANTI-aresnal fans at work grin grin grin

all those in support of adebayor, will you support him if he was in Man Uhuh
all those against Adebayor, will be against him if he is in your teamhuh

let watch football with our head not our hearts

In as much as am not a fan of ADEBAYOR i think he deserves the award going by the current form

and for people that are saying that the award was for last season, tell that to people that voted

I want to inform you that the PRESENT FORM counts 90% to the votes each player gets

Dont forget that BBC made it open and everybody went there to vote, so they didnt tell you when u should consider while voting

I was a voter there too

so even if you say its last season's form and i happen to watch a good dispaly from one of the players last weekend, and am voting today, the tendency

is for me to vote that player because his last display is still in my subconscious memory

PEACE GUYs cheesy cheesy cheesy

HealthRe: Diabetis; Help Me Out. by ndubest(m): 12:05pm On Jan 23, 2008
tundysho:
How do one prevent catching diabetics in the first place.

Could intake of plenty sweet things lead to diabetes--NAIJAKING and NDUBEST PLS respond
Diabetes is not a disease that you "catch" as in, it is not infectious so no need to be afraid like that

However diabetes in most cases is hereditary ie it runs in the family and like most hereditary illnesses have three major factors

Predisposing factor
precipitating factor and
perpetuating factor

the predisposing factor is like the 'word', you are exposed to it by the virtue of your family lineage (but that doesnt mean that it must manifest during your life time)

Precipitating factor are the things you do that makes it manifest out ie like your life style or situation you may find yourself in and this is what concerns you at the moment because these are the things you can control, like excess alcohol intake, excessive use of simple sugar etc

perpetuating factor is what makes the condition worsens when it has finally manifested

Here in nigeria we do not have alot of our medical history in tact, so you cannot for say for sure that it is not in your lineage because you do not know what your great grand father suffered about 100yrs ago

In addition to that as I pointed out earlier, even if your father is diabetic, the gene may be recessive in you meaning that if you live a healthy life style, the likelihood of it manifesting is minimal

therefore the best way is to live healthy life style in order not to precipitate the disease condition in event you are predispose by hereditary

I hope this gives you an insight into the condition

cheers

Sharapova is in her best form at the moment

I hope she will be calm enough to take on Jelena

atimes pschological intimidation comes in when friends are on the court esp if they are use to each others game

Jelena vs sharapova semi is really the game to watch in the semis

@ Ruudie

How often does the likes of Fabianski, Justin Hoyte, Traore, Denilson, Silva, Diaby, Walcot, Bendtner.play in the EPL or even FA cup??

did you watch the match??

bros you have to give AW kudos for his spirit and confidence in these young lads though atimes things do not work out
SportsRe: Arsenal Humilated 5-1! Diss Arsenal Section by ndubest(m): 9:30am On Jan 23, 2008
Sure it was a bad day for arsenal

they were outclassed by a spur side in form

I still give it up to Wenger for sticking with his young side

am sure the worth of fabregas (in money terms) who came through carling showing will be more than 3 carling cup title

the likes of eboue and toure also made their mark through the carling cup

its sour for gunners this year but they have tried for getting this far with that young side
HealthRe: Diabetis; Help Me Out. by ndubest(m): 3:48pm On Jan 22, 2008
As naijaking pointed out

you dont need to be scared at all

many people you see around have their own problems especially diabetes and hypertension

First visit your doctor

then see a dietian to tell you the kind of food you will be eating and in what quantity

the actual problem with us here is that most of our meals are carbohydrates which ultimately elevates the glucose level that causes frequent urination,

thirst and tendcy to consume alot

the aim of the whole diabetes management strategy is to reduce the glucose level in your system

Exercise, depending on the state of your heart may be vital in this management process, Quantity of Glucose containing diet you take is also vital and

then finally drugs if the above two cannot comfortably control the Glucose level in your system

so you need professional advice is you are starting the management

Good luck, its nothing to scare you
Foreign AffairsRe: Was Nelson Mandela A Terrorist? by ndubest(m): 11:44am On Jan 22, 2008
Terrorist is defined by the west to suit their interest

how do you explain invading a soverign nation into to IMPOSE democracy on them

is that not terrorism huh huh

if Nelson Mandela is a terrorist, then may be we should take another look at the definition again

lagos is land of opportunity, so dont blame the poor unemployed youth roaming the streets for work

PoliticsRe: Army Officers Who Sold Weapons To Militants by ndubest(m): 11:15am On Jan 22, 2008
@ real_demi

I think you have a point there

its high time the enlighten indigenes of Niger delta who have the interest of the people at heart take up their pens and expose these people that are sapping their communities in the name of activism and sabotaging the only source of succor for the common man

carrying arms will surely not stop this but exposure of such individuals and their cohorts (whoever they are) will be a starting point in the right direction
FamilyRe: How Necessary Is Marriage? by ndubest(m): 4:48pm On Jan 17, 2008
Marriage is surely a sacred institution that is necessary BUT not compulsory in life

the craze for marriage these days especially from the female folks is trivializing the importance of the institution

I wonder what happened to courtship and getting to know your partner well

You meet a lady today, next week she will be expecting a ring from you

If you dont, she start asking about your future and your plans,

if dont bulge, SHE WILL CONCLUDE YOU DONT HAVE PROSPECTS

all under six months huh huh HABA

Marriage should be for mature minds who know themselves WELL.

that way it will be fun and long lasting

ANY OTHER THING IS ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN sad sad sad

please look before you leap to avoid a life long regret

I wonder whether you are faning the flame of unity or discord huh huh

May be you have not EXPERIENCED REAL war, just watching it on CNN

No hard feeling but that kind of comment is surely not for the unity of this country
cheque or no cheque
general or no general

Many lives have been lost to unite this country and will should be looking at that and not promoting discord with trivialites

how much money will bring back the lives of the dead

PEACE TO ALL

let him better wake up before he will join the likes of Big Sam in the Job Market
