you can't just conclude that the network is terrible. It depends on ur location. I am rocking the 3gb/#1k here in PH. Both 2g and 3g rock, in my area, airtel is the network that misbehaves most times

glo is poor in lagos as a whole,uyo and onitsha,i feel it's because of the poor network that they even gave us this plan.....your merely fortunate

glo's N1000/3gb is affordable but the network is t on terrible,i just started the N2000/2gB yes'day on etisalat,it's a balance btw mtn's costly plans and glo's network

I've been on the glo N1000 for 3gB for Q5 for about 2months now and the network is terrible and fluctuates(even in front of glo hq in VI)i'll manage this etisalat plan at least let me have peace of mind

Please someone should help me out here. Why is it thought by the bulk of people that those on glasses must be intelligent? This is not only a Nigerian thing but it's global. Everywhere you go, people think that once you use glasses, you must be smart! Even though I don't use glasses, I fall into that belief too. Once I see someone using, I think the person is serious minded. American movies also portray that stereotype so geeky brainy glass wearers.

since glasses wearers can't be so social and that involved in sports,it entails they stay indoors and more often than not get involved with their books,its not as though our brains become more effective as soon as you put your glasses on,lolss

Using glasses come with a lot of challenges. I have been using it since 2002,I am on -3. I find it difficult to play football very well because of poor vision so I had to stop.As an engineer,
This poor vision has limited me from doing courses in Weding,fire fighting and some other fields.It has given me a kind of personality which I do not like.People see me differently from how I see my self.I had to change my style of dressing just to look a little bit tough. I only wear jeans and well starched shirt,I do not tuck-in my shirt for any reason. I have suffered a lot of reproach,I wish God could take away this burden frm me.

it's unfortunate really and it's really hurtful 'cause i've been asked that before,contacts lens can be inconveniencing but it's probably the best option during interviews

depends on the nature of the job your gunning for,trying applying for a military personnel or a site engineer(my part-discipline) and you'll know what i'm saying,i've resorted to desk jobs though

Buy if only u will listen to me.i suffer far more than dis ur case, at a time my optician couldnt even offer any help, I was told I had to manage d little vision I had left and thats was after goin for eye surgery twice.but I got back my complet vision with use of adult stem cell, which helped to rebulid my already demaged eye.right now I can wright,watch TV,look out computer without problem.do you live in lagos?

I am astigmatic on one eye and short sighted on the other. I understand how you feel because I passed thru that phase. However, Mike is stubborn and he ditched his glasses by faith. I use my eyes well these days I drive without glasses, read without them, do my CAD designs, Nairaland and other online activities without them, I visit sites without them. I have faith you'll ditch your '2nd pair of eyes'

ditching the glasses?its since I was a kid 1993,if there's actually a cure i'll probably need a medical and a mental one,to ditch the glasses is close to impossible esp if there's no solution waiting
