Following the salvage of three POS (Point-Of-Sale) fraudsters who endeavored to grab the money of an administrator at the Lokogoma area of Abuja from being lynched by an irate crowd, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Sunday Babaji has cautioned residents of the FCT to avoid jungle justice.

"The CP, while denouncing the demonstration, ordered inhabitants to approach with their grumblings to give space for genuine and quick agreement of equity.

"He underscored the significance of permitting the course of equity regardless of the wrongdoing carried out by a suspect.

"In the mean time, full-scale examination is being conveyed to lay out the reality of the case.

"The CP further cautioned that demonstration of wilderness equity is criminal and deserving of regulation.

"He emphasized the responsibility of the Command to the wellbeing and security of inhabitants across the FCT."

Nigerian mom has been reportedly shot dead by her 12-year-old kid in their home in Alabama, United States of America.

The kid who has since admitted to coincidentally shooting his mom, a Nigerian lady, after at first guaranteeing a gatecrasher killed her in their US home.

The murder of kuru student has left many in tears, as friends took to social media to grieve over the lost of their friend who was killed by shooters in Kuru community, Jos, South Local Government Area of Plateau state.

Reports gathered that about three different students were wounded in the assault which occured at around 7:30 pm on Friday, June 10.

The casualties supposedly went to charge their mobile phones at a filling station near the school, when the shooters suspected to be Fulani herders started shooting at them, killing one on the spot, while three others sustained wounds.

Nigerian Lady Receives N1.6 Million Job After Ordering Plantain Of N400 To Stranger For Free

A lady shared testimony on how her act of kindness to a stranger brought upon her an unexpected favor and blessings.

The lady identified as Hope Osoma Okpuwara revealed that she got a job of over N1.6 million after giving N400 plantain to someone for free.

Taking to her Facebook page, she narrated how a stranger contacted her to make an order for food, but was confused on which food to take.

According to Hope, she added plantain worth N400 for the customer who in turn appreciated her and promised to pay her back.

A few days later, the customer contacted her and informed her that he would love her to handle his company’s end-of-year party strictly for the staff.

32-Year-Old Woman Arrested And Charged For Murder After Setting Husband Lover Ablaze In Ogun State

32 year old woman and a mother of 3, Kehinde Abdul Wasiu, has been arrested by operatives of Ogun state police command for pouring petrol on her husband’s mistress, Tosin Olugbade, 23, and subsequently setting her ablaze.

The suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Onipanu divisional headquarters Ota by the husband of the deceased one Fatai Olugbade, on November 22. Olugbade said on that sometime in August 2021, he accused his wife of having extramarital affair with one Ismail Wasiu, and to his surprise, the said wife packed out of his house and moved to the house of Ismail Wasiu.

He stated further that on the 14th of November 2021, he learned that the wife of Ismail Wasiu had an argument with his wife, and the said Wasiu’s wife poured petrol on her and set her ablaze. The deceased was rushed to the hospital by her family members but later gave up the ghost while receiving treatment.

Upon the report, the Dpo Onipanu division, csp Bamidele job, quickly mobilized his men and moved to the scene where the husband of Kehinde who had asked his wife to run away was arrested.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Judge Tells DSS To Allow Him Practice His Faith And Have Full Comfort While In Detention

Justice Binta Murtala Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja, has told the operatives of the Department of State Services(DSS), to allow the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, practice his faith in detention.

The judge gave the verbal order on Thursday following complaints in the application filed by Kanu’s counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, that his client was being denied certain things in detention.



The court has now fixed Kanu’s trial to January 18, 19 and 20, 2022.



The shift in the trial date followed the abridgment of time granted by the Judge following a passionate plea to that effect.



Kanu’s counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, had approached the court with an application seeking the order of the court to accommodate the trial in November and December this year as against the earlier January 19.



Shuaib Labaran who stood for the federal government, however, told the court that a counter affidavit opposing the request by the federal government has been filed and served on Kanu.



Justice Nyako, however, cuts in and informed Kanu’s lawyer that the application for time abridgment cannot be considered because there is no judicial time for such an issue.



In the drama that ensued, the case diary of the court was read to the lawyer to establish that the court has crowded cases to attend to.

However, following the insistence, Justice Nyako agreed to shift other cases slated for January 18 to accommodate the trial which will last between January 19 and 20.



Justice Nyako also ordered the DSS to allow Kanu to practice his faith, change his clothes and be given maximum possible comfort in detention facility.

The families of 28-year-old lady, Hannatu Yahaya, have been thrown into deep mourning after she died on her wedding day. Daily Trust reports that the deceased, who hailed from Kawon Maigari area of Kano metropolis, died hours after her wedding ceremony.

She got married to Isyaka Yusuf at Bulama mosque in Kano on Saturday, November 27.

According to her brother, Ayyuba Yahaya, said the deceased had no history of any illness until a couple of weeks ago.

In a letter dated November 23, 2021, which was shared to all formations and units, the Chief of Army Staff called on its officers to “forward all recorded incidence of police brutality against personnel of the Nigerian Army.”

Source reports that Police brutality is common in Nigeria and was responsible for the #EndSARS protest in Nigeria last 2020.



The letter was signed by Major General J. A. Ataguba titled, ‘Evaluating Incidences Of Police Brutality Against Personnel Of Nigerian Army.’

Through the letter, the army also mandated its personal to evaluate and present evidence surrounding the circumstances and draw conclusions as to the validity of the complaints raised.

The letter read, “The NA is constitutionally tasked to provide aid to civil authorities when called upon. This responsibility has occasioned conducting joint activities with members of the civil and paramilitary organizations. These joint operations with other security agencies particularly the Nigerian Police (NP) create occasions for the police to equate its hierarchy with the NA and this has often led to friction, especially at the lower levels.



“This friction has occasionally led to bodily harm and in some cases death to our troops. This is in spite of the fact that the victims have been identified and established to be serving personnel.



“This Dept is therefore conducting an evaluation of these occurrences with a view to establishing the frequency and recommend possible remedial measures to stem the tide. Consequently, all NA corps, formations and establishments are please requested to forward all recorded incidence of police brutality against personnel of the NA.

“The report should cover the last 2 years. Returns to reach this NLT 8 December 21 and should be forwarded using enclosed formal.“

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly called Davido has given all the donations given to him by friends, in celebration of his birthday to charity.

In a press statement released on Saturday on his verified Instagram handle, the music star said the total amount of the donation is N200,000,000.

He made a personal donation of N50,000,000 to make a total figure of N250,000,000 and said this money will all go as donations to orphanages across Nigeria.

A five-man disbursement committee – with three professors and one pastor – was therefore set up by the singer to see to the sharing.

Davido said his goal is to make the donation a yearly tradition in celebration of his birthday and to give back to those in need.

Seif al-Islam Kadhafi, the son of slain Libyan dictator Moamer Kadhafi, registered on Sunday to run in December presidential polls seen as crucial to helping the country turn a page on a decade of conflict.

Libya’s first ever direct presidential poll, with a first round on December 24, is the climax of a process launched last year by the United Nations to draw a line under years of violence since the revolt that toppled Kadhafi in 2011.

“Seif al-Islam Kadhafi submitted… his candidacy for the presidential election to the High National Electoral Commission office in the city of Sebha,” a statement by the commission said.

It said he had completed “all the required legal conditions” and that he was also issued with a voter registration card for the southern Sebha district.

Seif al-Islam, long-considered his father’s erstwhile heir apparent, was seen registering his candidacy, dressed in traditional robes and headdress.

Libya opened registration on Monday for candidates in presidential and parliamentary polls.

Both are slated for December 24, but in early October parliament split the dates of the vote by postponing legislative elections until January.

Foreign powers have been pushing hard for both elections to be still held on the same date, as agreed at UN-led talks last year.

- Ensure facility conditions are fully captured on offer letters and conditions precedent satisfied or appropriate sign-off obtained before facility disbursement is done

- Ensure facilities booked for obligors are within approved limit and that global exposures do not exceed single obligor limit

- Book guarantees and maintenance of register for them

- Supervise safe and confidential keeping of credit files and documents with due restriction of unauthorized access

- Handle booking of facilities – retail, corporate and investment.

- Act as liaison office for BCC and BOD credit approval processing

- Provide secretariat services for Management and Board Credit Committees

- Maintain mark-up rates on Clients’ accounts in line with management approval

- Prepare monthly reports to management on collateral portfolio current status and condition

- Follow up on deferrals and restricting further utilization on expiration of approved deferrals

- Ensure daily call over of booked facilities to confirm that collaterals were properly captured.

- Ensure the existence of valid insurance policies for collaterals and obligors during the life cycle of the credit facilities.

- Process the release of security documents for the Legal Department.

Job Experience

A First Degree.

Second degree/Professional qualification is an added advantage.

Preferred candidates should be skilled in Credit Administration, Credit Analysis, have good understanding of CBN monetary policies & guidelines, loan monitoring process and delinquency management etc.

Armed Group Identified As Angry Vipers' Declears War Against All Southeast Governors, Senators, Reps.. If Nnamdi Kanu Is Not Released After 21 Days (WATCH VIDEO)

A group armed with various weapons, identified as "Angry Vipers" has given all the Southeast Governors 21 days ultimatum to free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

The said group vowed to declare all Southeast governors, Senators, traditional rulers, and other political office holders dead if Kanu is not released within 21 days.

The ultimatum was disclosed in a viral video of what resembled a ritual where the vipers sang and made different incantations.

As the time of this publication, the video has gone viral on different social media platforms.

According to the video, the group also called on traditional rulers to ensure Kanu’s release and warned that Fulanis should vacate from Southeast.



A voice speaking in the background of the video said;

We The angry Viper has noticed that Southeast governors, Senators, local government Chairman have concluded to play pranks with the lives of youths of the Eastern region.
We, hereby, give you 21 days ultimatum to ensure that Nnamdi Kanu is released unconditionally and resigns from the opposition without further delays.

Failure to do so, we shall have no other option than to declare you wanted, dead.

All kings and chiefs who have decided to reduce themselves to used sanitary pads and all themselves to be toiled about with by uncircumcised Fulanis due to your idiocy and bribery; we the Angry Vipers are giving you 21 days to leave our land unless Nnamdi Kanu is released.



Recall that, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is currently locked up by the Department of State Services (DSS) following his rearrest in Kenya and repatriation to Nigeria.

Nnamdi Kanu was brought back to Nigeria and arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako of the Abuja Federal High Court.

The federal government has debunked rumor of the Third Mainland Bridge "opening up"and "shaking".

Boade Akinola, spokesperson of the federal ministry of works who countered the claim via a statement released on Tuesday November 9, said Olukayode Popoola, the federal controller of works in Lagos drove on the bridge without noticing "any shaking" as claimed in social media messages.

Commuters have been asked to ignore the claim as the bridge is safe to use.



The statement read;

The federal controller of works in Lagos, Engineer Olukayode Popoola, has debunked insinuations making the rounds in the social media that the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos has "opened up" and "shaking" and, therefore, unsafe to traffic saying the claim was false ánd unfounded.
Giving an on-the-spot report on the Bridge, the controller, who said he just drove along the Bridge without noticing any opening or experiencing any shaking as contained in the social media report, advised members of the public.

"Especially commuters to ignore the insinuations as the Bridge, which is receiving regular attention along with others across the country, is safe for use.

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State yesterday, received the Speaker Rt. Hon. Kennedy lbeh and other Members of the Imo State House of Assembly (IMHA) at the Government House and with the new dawn at the State Assembly.

During their meeting in the Government House yesterday, the Governor expressed his optimism saying;

"I am optimistic that the Legislature have formed a new and united alliance for a productive legislation to the State While I have maintained my submission to the Independence of the Legislature and reverence to the principles of Separation of Powers"

The governor therefore, appeal for the collaborative effort amongst all arms of Government in order to deliver dividends to the people.

He also encouraged the Members of the Imo State House of Assembly (IMHA) to play down on all factors that militate against unity in the House while assuring of the Executive's commitment towards a healthy synergy in Governance to the people.
