Okay i don't know if this is the right place to post it i only want to pass a safety information, yesterday evening at ugbor Benin city, driving home, i saw 3 northerns were been beaten, i actually didnt asked what happened as i love to mind my own business not until my younger brother rushed home to start looking for my nieces used diapers, i then asked what he wanted them for, so he told me those northerners were been beaten cos they were caught in a waste bin looking for used baby diapers, and they had with them already loaded bags of Used baby diapers they've found. and when they were beaten they confessed that they were sent by somebody, but before i ran back to Get the full gist and maybe get some pictures they had already taken them away so I'm just here to advice Us to please kindly dispose properly any used diaper, because we don't know what they want to use that for again, answer i don't know what Nigeria is turning into...

Very true o. I recently dumped used pampers at a garbage disposal site, and within minutes, some urchins came and made away with everything. I think yahoo boys and other ritualists are the ones creating the demand.

I guess those who, hitherto, used to be articulate voices on this forum suddenly stopped probably because they have become select few beneficiaries of our individual and collective loss. Perhaps, they have now become employed and have resumed. In other words, they no longer see the need to comment on here, if you feel me.

We're making progress. I just dropped off a near-detail message for Dino on WhatsApp, too, and it was sent. I can only hope that it's delivered and seen.

Ojonoda, that Dino's line has only been say "Your call is being forwarded"...then, it drops! Try and see if you might find a functional one. I'll be trying, too. Every other person should do their bit, too. Or, have we given up too soon? I don't think so.

The recruitment wasn't a scam. It was advertised on not so much, but select media platforms, apparently to cut down traffic. Even if anybody thinks it's fake, shouldn't that be the more reason why it should be investigated? I can't remember anytime during which it became legal in Nigeria to gather a teaming population of qualified but unemployed graduates just for the fun of it, in the name of massive recruitment. Lest us forget that majority of those who participated and passed the exam in question are not resident in Abuja, thus, must have, besides risking to put their lives on our very unsafe highways, spent reasonably on taxi fare, feeding and, perhaps, accommodation. Time and monies that could've gone into other productive ventures.

There's no excuse, whatsoever that can justify the actions of both G-Invest and the concerned ministry as regards the whole saga.Except, we are saying that same thing could still happen in the future without consequences. Even in zoos, there are very dire consequences for misdeeds and boundary crossings.

Thanks, Ojonoda and Nasar1053. Every concerned person on this forum who feels cheated and abused should key in and lets pursue this to a logical conclusion. Who knows? This might prove to be our only hope at securing this job. One concerted VOICE does it. Together, we'll get result. Lets start the calling! It's not unlikely that some of our friends on this forum are among those that have been issued letters, but would rather post stuff on here just to distract the rest of us. We're watching.

It's been confirmed a lot of politics has played out concerning g-invest employment. It's been completely highjacked from both the ministry and g-invest itself, and consequently, many names have been swapped and first set of letters issued. G-invest is fighting this development but how far will it go, given that batons have changed hands and the awarding regime has expired?

If there shall ever be a glimmer of hope, I think the time to act is now!

But, this's abysmal injustice - I wrote the Nov. 2013 exam, and still sat for the popular 15th Feb. 2014 one, passing convincingly. Yet, I'm not called while they're at it smuggling names in, underhandedly? Who else shall vindicate & save me from jaws of devourers of destiny, except God Himself.

To be candid, when I learned about batching the process a fortnight ago, I had concluded it was a ploy to handpick favoured and or most qualified candidates n draw d curtains. If actually d first list has been released, then I think my fear has just been confirmed. Still hopeful, though. May the remaining batches follow.

Protest is NOT an option cos the job vacancies was nt advertised in d first place and protesting may result to cancellation of the appointment since the incoming government may not tolerate such. I believe G-invest is real and has finished its work. Blame should be heaped on the concerned federal authorities for playing politics with our future. The world should probably hear this and come to our rescue.
