A ghastly accident that occurred along Ibadan expressway earlier today, has left a man who was rescued by emergency officials with one arm.

Hyderabad Police, yesterday arrested a Nigerian identified as Ugochukwu Chukwuebuka alias Godpower caught with Cocaine twice in the past two years.

The suspect who came to India in August 2016 on business visa and arrested alongside with a Hyderabadi last year on charge of possessing narcotic substances, was caught with 20 grams of cocaine this time.

He regained his freedom upon payment of bail but continued to procure and sell narcotic drugs.

“This year, he was caught again in August possessing drugs along with another foreigner and three Hyderabadis,” Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force DCP B. Limba Reddy said.

Coming after it was reported that Dammy Krane who arrested and arraigned in court over credit card fraud has been freed of the charges, Tapjets the airline company which sued the singer has claimed that the 'Amin' singer is not free as no court acquitted him. 

A statement obtained from Mr. Konstantin, Tapjets' Head of flight safety and security, reads:

"There is a 180-day delay in bringing full charges. Information from our attorney indicated that his accomplice, Chukwuebuka Ilochonwu, is giving police full cooperation.

This was why they asked for 180 days to bring big charges. So he is not free. Court record says "no action" it does not say "not guilty."

Convener of London protest calling for President Buhari's return or resignation, Chidi Cali, has taken to Facebook to disclose that they've been granted permission to protest at Abuja House, London tonight where President Buhari has been on medical vacation for over 3 months.

It seems the meeting with Igbo leaders and members of Ala-Igbo International Foundation paid off, as it has been gathered that IPOB's leader Nnamdi Kanu has reportedly dropped his threat of stopping Anambra State Governorship election.

Speaking after the meeting held in Owerri, Leader of the foundation, Professor Uzodinma Nwala, says after much deliberations which they say is still ongoing, IPOB has assured the Igbo leaders that it won’t disrupt the November 18 governorship election.

The group which brings together Igbo academics, elders, clerics, patriotic public figures, women and youth, both at home and abroad, with the main objective of protecting and ensuring the survival of Ndigbo, their culture and civilisation as well as the development of Igboland, further urged People who are eligible to vote have also been told to go out and exercise their franchise without fear of molestation.

A Nigerian man, Ibu Monkom, who was planning to engage Fulani herdsmen on a way out of farm crop destruction alongside his community, woke up to horror of a beheaded goat dumped in front of his house.

The resident of Calabar wrote;

"Woke up this morning and preparing to take my community to engage the Fulani herdsmen on a way out to destruction of our farm crop only to find a little beheaded goat thrown in front of my residence. Cool FM OAP, Daddy Freeze, who slammed RCCG's General Overseer, Pastor Adeboye over ban on Asoebi in the church's wedding has replied a follower who wants him to stop cohabiting with his fiancee and marry her instead.

So earlier today, we reported that Charly Boy who is one of the frontliners of 'Our mumu don do' protest calling for resignation or return of President Buhari was attacked by traders at Wuse market in Abuja.

Eyewitnesses at the scene of the incident, alleged that the protest degenerated into ethnic crisis as Hausas and Igbos started stoning each other at Wuse Market, Abuja. 

PDP's former Youth leader, Deji Adeyanju tweeted, "We just went to Wuse market for mobilization against 100 days event tomorrow & a regular face at Unity Fountain brought thugs to attack us."

"Charly Boy came to this market with some cameramen doing his protest here.

I was standing in front of my shop when I saw him running for his dear life, being chased by those youth," a trader at the market said. 

"They nearly lynched him, because those youth almost overpowered police security near him."

The musician was rescued by security operatives who fired gunshots and tear-gas to disperse the crowd.

 The security operatives later returned to remove Charly Boy's vehicles from the market, using tear-gas to disperse the protesters who tried to stop them. Wuse market ‎is Abuja's largest and is dominated by northerners, many of them supporters of President Buhari. The gates of the market were temporarily closed and manned by heavily armed security operatives after the incident.
"Charly Boy caused it, how can he come here to be talking against Buhari.

Those Hausa boys dealt with him," a meat seller in the market who witnessed the incident said.

Adeyanju also claimed in another tweet that Charly Boy's car was damaged by the thugs that attacked the group.

The Ogun State Government has confirmed the outbreak of Lassa fever, as it was gathered that a 20-year-old patient tested positive for the virus and has been moved to one of the isolation centres set up by the state government.  

The State's Commissioner for Health, Babatunde Ipaye disclosed that 66 persons who had contact with the victim have been put under observation, as he called on residents to remain calm and assured them of adequate response surveillance in the case of another outbreak.

Ipaye further told residents to always maintain good environmental and personal hygiene, to contain the spread of the fever.

An alleged Kidnapper who was caught by an angry mob in Lagos, escaped being lynched to the death by the mob.

Abductors of Ikeja Local Government council clerk, Shamsideen Omotayo, have finally made contact with those at the waiting end, and they're demanding a N20,000 recharge card ransom.

Omotayo's abductors who disclosed this in phone call with a member of Omotayo's family, stressed that the sum of N20m ransom must be paid before he and his driver will be released.

Militant group, Adaka Boro Avengers (ABA), through its spokesperson Edmos Ayayeibo, has vowed to carry out their threat of declaring their republic on October 1.
