Please why is life insurance so expensive in canada compare to usa and other adance countries?

I have friends in usa ,uk of same age and nonsmoker ,am surprise how much they paying for life insurance compare to what am paying monthly in canada like 4 times more .

If your wife has no qualifications at all. You are the better candidate, however the BSc may not give you enough point, consider taking a short course like Acca, CIMA, BCS etc to claim two or more certificates so as to boost your score, evaluate both credentials, Write IELTS and aim for scores LRSW- 8.5,8.0,7.5,7.5 and if possible, let your wife write IELTS too. Find your NOC, ensure it’s under Teer 0,1,2 & 3, get into the express entry pool, while waiting try other means to boost your CRS score eg French, Job offer (can be an Herculean task but not impossible with determination). As someone rightly pointed out, if your occupation happens to be in demand in a province and you have the minimum CRS score they are selecting for the rounds of draw, you may receive NOI (notification of interest.
