He told the teenagers that real education begins with mental transformation which eventually culminate in life transformation. He made it clear that despite the high level of mendaciloquence and presstitute in the political system of our nation Nigeria, everyone including the teenagers have roles to play in building a better Nigeria.

Education / Kerux Academic Institute (KAI) Set To Host Mentorship Programme For Young People by nelocay(m): 4:07am On Jul 29, 2022
The Kerux Academic Institute (KAI) is set to host refined editions of its mentorship programme for young people. In an official press release signed by Godspower Oyubu, Director of Kerux Academic Institute, the mentorship will empower young people and help them redefine what leadership is really all about.

The Kerux Academic Institute (KAI) is a non-profit community-based organization, a leadership, coaching, training and mentorship program committed to mentoring teenagers/young people within and outside Mosogar Community on Academics, Leadership, Business/Finance, Management/Administration, Public Speaking and other Professional Development Courses that can equip young people and make them relevant beyond the scope of their Academic Disciplines.

Overtime, many graduates from within the Mosogar community and the nation in general seem to be bankrupt of knowledge in vital areas of life outside their field of expertise! This has practically resulted in producing intellectuals who are irrelevant to the society since they can't get jobs touching their field of expertise.

KAI Mentorship Program also seeks to empower young people and help them redefine what leadership is really all about. Many had misunderstood leadership to be merely occupying a position of influence and this lopsided view has had catastrophic effect in the community and Nation at large.

KAI involves both classroom training and practical training which would include having one on one interview sessions with reputable personalities within and outside Mosogar Community, Seminars where KAI Mentorship Products (Teenagers) are expected to display their Wealth of Knowledge in Public Speaking, Conflict Resolutions, Business/Financial Intelligence, Problem Solving and Leadership.

With hopes that this programme will help build a better Nigeria, the training is completely free and opened to all teenagers and young people within and outside Mosogar Community. The designed curriculum of KAI Mentorship Programme helps to build teenagers and make them relevant beyond the scope of their Academic Discipline. The professional classes hold every Friday between 3pm and 5pm at the Ighoyota Primary School Mosogar, Delta State, Nigeria. You can also contact Keruz Academic Institute by phone call or and email here.

About the Teenage Girls Leadership Group (TGLG)

The TGLG is an arm of KAI Mentorship Program that focuses on teenage girls. The vision of the TGLG is to mentor the girl child intellectually and professionally for future leadership. Many have the myopic understanding that the man should always take the lead in any occasion and women should follow. The TGLG seeks to inculcate in these teenage girls the mentality and attributes of world class global leaders from a young age. Currently, over 50 female teenagers are part of the TGLG of KAI and 15 of them, from records are already taking leadership roles in their schools, churches and volunteer organizations, instigating positive changes in the different organisations.

The Teenage Girls Leadership Group (TGLG) will help bring to the limelight the inherent potentials resident in these girls and skillfully prepare them to take up higher leadership responsibilities at Community, National and International levels in the nearest future.

The Impact of KAI on Teenagers and Young People

The Director of Kerux Academic Institute (KAI), Godspower Oyubu, a Master's degree holder of Applied Biochemistry from the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, has been mentoring teenagers/young people for 13years. He started a Mentorship Program during the Covid 19 Pandemic where he offered free Academic and Professional training classes to Teenagers who where home due to the nation wide lockdown instigated by the much dreaded Covid 19. This free training program metamorphosed into Kerux Academic Institute (KAI) on 11th January, 2021 with 15 teenagers and 5 staff members.

The overall vision of KAI is to train teenagers academically and professionally. The idea of professional training is to inculcate in these teenagers an ideology that places value on leadership qualities, management skills and business mindset as unbeatable requirements for transforming the local community and the nation at large. At the start of KAI, four (4) University Lecturers were coming occasionally to train and encourage these teenagers. Within 2021, KAI has trained 115 teenagers (85 girls and 30 boys) and 48 eventually got admission into different Universities while others got admission into various Polytechnics. The long term goal is to train at least 2000 teenagers in Mosogar community and the near-by communities on leadership, management and business in order to prepare them for local and global relevance beyond the scope of their academic discipline.

The issue of fraud is becoming rampant in virtually every community in Nigeria. The high level of corruption in the Nation and poor investment in the education system have contributed to this predominance of fraudulent activity. However, KAI Mentorship Program will help prepare teenagers who will be empowered via high level superior knowledge to combat this moral decadence ravaging our community and Nation in general.

Nairaland / General / If You Engage In Digital Business As A Cover For Fraud, Your Sins Will Find You by nelocay(m): 2:49pm On Apr 17, 2020
As Digital Trends get disruptive by the day, there is every chance at it that conventional work modes will exit the human space soon. Our staff at NELOC Media walked the talk with Kehinde Odeyemi, CEO of The Echo Digital. This is what he has to say on the importance of Digital Marketing and how to read the trending signs of our age.

NNI: Can we meet you?

Guest: I am Emmanuel Kehinde Odeyemi, I have a B.Sc in Electronics & Electrical Engineering (Communications). I am a professional Digital Marketer and the founder of The Echo Digital, T.E.D, an online marketing firm, founded in August 2017. Also, I'm a humanitarian at The Echo Care Foundation Africa, founded by me in June 2018

NNI: How has the entrepreneurship/business journey been for you so far?

If you engage in Digital Busineses as a Cover for Fraud, Your sins will find you Out

Mr Kehinde Odeyemi, CEO, The Echo Digital

GUEST: My entrepreneur journey hasn't been smooth and neither has it been rough all through. There have been big wins, small wins, big losses and small losses. But importantly, lessons have been learnt.

NNI: Like Summy Smart Francis, Bill Gates, Strive Masiyiwa and other world's business models, what and who drives your entrepreneurship/business spirit?

GUEST: My entrepreneurial spirit is actually based on the fact that I have passion to help people. Through T.E.D, we have been able to solve over 650 marketing problems within 32 months and hired people so they can earn. At the moment, our staff count is about 30.

Also, a desire to be independent and creating a better life for myself and my unborn kids is a motivation. I am commited to making lives better.

NNI: In hosting innovative brand programmes like the TED Trade Fairs, Live in Concert and the TEDInvasion, what is your experience?
GUEST: I own all the stocks at T.E.D,. This means if it goes sour, I lose the most and if goes so well I enjoy the most. One of the major characteristics of an entrepreneur is the ability to take risks, risk is something that I have learnt to calculate. The purpose of these events are: brand awareness, education and empowerment. However, the major challenge about hosting these events is having willing hands that can make it a success. Willing hands will always generate revenues.

READ: T.E.D Hosts Second Edition of Digital Marketing Conference

NNI: What do you do at the TED Academy?
GUEST: The T.E.D Academy is a Division of the T.E.D Organisation in charge of training people in digital skills such as SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Page Management & Development, Sponsored Ads, e.t.c. All done virtually! The participants are issued a certificate afterwards.

NNI: How did you come about digital Skills?

GUEST: Most of my digital skills are self taught!

NNI: What do you think of many youths who claim to engage in digital businesses as a cover for fraud?
GUEST: Their sins will find them out if they don't stop that nonsense

NNI: On the price rates and excessive use of internet browsing data (positively or negatively) for SMEs and Companies, how does it affect your productivity?
GUEST: I use tonnes of data, that I can honestly account for. In the past 4 months, I have used over 200GB. To a certain extent, data in Nigeria isn't cheap if you compare it to other world countries but at the rate of data being sold, people in Nigeria can still make a life from it by going digital. You just have to understand that if you spend much on data usage, it better be fetching you money in return.

NNI: As a company, Can impact truly be measured? Considering your CSRs, what defines social impact for you at the Echo Digital?

GUEST: Of course impact can be measured. Most people into business are not entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are business people but not all business people are entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship has to do with innovative solution to problems and trying to make lives better irrespective of their field. It is about risk taking, especially at the initial or incubation stage of your start-up. If you can't even afford to take a little risk for your brand, you can't use that word. Entrepreneurs think about people, business people think about themselves!

When it comes to CSR, we are making impact. For instance, The T.E.D Invasion Conference allows you to pick a ticket for a token and you get trained for free in digital marketing. The whole value embedded in the ticket is almost 18,000 naira and participants are asked to pay only 3,000 naira or 1,500 for it.

T.E.D also supports foundations, most importantly, TECF Africa and we have been able to hire many undergraduates to help them build work experience with us and get paid. So yes, results can be measured as we have been able to solve over 650 marketing problems with over 82% success rate.

NNI: What is your view on Global Youth Development and growth? Do you think we are making progress?
GUEST: As a matter of fact, the major targets for our online courses are undergraduate youths and one of the major benefits of the T.E.D Invasion is skill and knowledge empowerment for undergraduates. If young minds can harness the power of the digital age, they would live more fulfilled in various businesses. And yes, we are making progress. We are doing that fast too!

Nairaland / General / I Used The Book Of Revelation To Clean My Buttock In Prison - Pastor Hezekiah by nelocay(m): 5:37pm On Sep 11, 2017
NELOC News International interviewed Pst. Hezikiah Olujobi. Read his interview below.

NNI: Can we meet you?
Guest: I'm Hezekiah Olujobi, born on August 8, 1963 to a Christian family, my mum was a junior sister to Late Apostle Ayo Babalola, the man whom God used for the revival in Nigeria and Africa in 1930. I was also by his mercy ordained as Pastor in Christ Apostolic Church in 1995. I'm happily married with Victoria Mojisola Olujobi, father of 4 children, the Director and Coordinator for Centre for Justice Mercy and Reconciliation, a Christian non Governmental Organisation based in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria with focus on the welfare of people languishing in Nigerian Prisons in Awaiting Trial and on Death row without a just cause.

NNI: What inspired the CJMR?
Pst. Hezekiah: The vision of CJMR was born from my personal experience as an ex inmate who had gone through the process of prison incarceration for six consecutive times in 3 different Prisons in Nigerian. I had my encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ during my detention period for six years in Agodi prison on 16th August, 1989 and I gained my freedom on 3rd of March, 1993 (I was remanded in the prison on 27, January, 1987 on allegations of armed robbery) the offence I knew nothing about. After my freedom, I decided to proceed to the Bible school but very unfortunately I was turned down because I couldn't have school cert, I later opt for another bible school for Evangelist and Prophets which has no any condition or requirements than your calling. Shortly after I completed my one year training I was posted to Pastor a church and I was ordained as a Pastor. 2 years after my ordination as a Pastor and as a Pastor of a church with fast growing number, I heard a voice from the Lord who said "go back to where I called you to go and bring out others who are still walking in the darkness, for this reason I have caused you to walk in the darkness so that you may bring the captives to the knowledge saving grace".

This was my entry point to the ministry.

At the initial stage I did not have full concept of what the ministry will look like than to go to the prison and preach, but along the lines the ministry was unfolding itself as people whom I knew when I was there are still coming to the prison. In the cause of my interactions with them I realised that same problem that I faced are the factors for their cycling of incarceration, I decided to provide them a room from my 3 bedroom apartment then and I identified the problem confronting them and I moved to solve the problems. In that process, I saw the need to advocate for many of them who have no lawyer, I connect them with some Christian lawyers who offered them free legal services, those detained without case files in the Ministry of Justice I looked for the police in charge of the case and I persuaded them to forward the case file to the ministry of Justice for prompt action. Those wrongfully sentenced to death I re investigated their stories, I connected them with lawyers who will file their appeal to the Court of Appeal or even to the Supreme Court and they get their freedom, those that their case have gone to the Supreme Court with proven evidence that they are wrongfully convicted, I personally writes the Governor and the Board of Mercy and they were released

In our interview with Bayo Adegbite, music artiste of the popular "Aninile ma tan nile" He has this to say concerning the Cobb's and Nicki Minaj's collaboration.

``I'm not one to judge, but if i could just lend my voice. My stand is that Whatever is Gospel is too precious to be meddled with the secular world. There's a distinct line between we do in the kingdom and what goes on in the secular. We preach Christ, they preach self, so when we involve the secular guys in collaboration, in my opinion I think there's a loss of sense of identity.```

Literature / Morning Prayer: Poetry By Nelson Vincent Ayomitunde by nelocay(m): 5:10pm On Feb 07, 2017
Dear God,
I give thanks for EVERYTHING
Bad, good except NO THING

They say,
A child who shows appreciation today
For a deed done yesterday
Worths another someday

This day is a new child
As I go in it
Help my gentle mild
soul sway happily
Not in the hands of Osun, Oya or any Chi
Do I rest my head
But in your broad big hand

The ground I step may have a thorn
From it Lord, strong make my feet

Disease in air makes it air-borne
May I breathe no sort of it

My eyes may see glory and gun
The joy of the gun is six-feet
Far from me, Lord I plead

The journey of no return is a long one
May I not embark on it...

Since there is no way before,
Let me turn back
I am Lot's wife
A known friend betters the unknown enemy
If I would die,
Let me know he that is noble enough to kill me

Let me turn back
To face my treasured possessions
And flowered pack
Let me turn to clear my illusions
That I will see them no more

What the old man sees on seat
The young on the tree cannot
Let me turn back
And be blind
And be dead
To the ruins and rumbles of this fallen house
