Here is the earnings of January and February of my brother, though he works 3, 4 to 5 days a week due to car maintenance. He works 12 to 14hrs any day he choose to work. During the 2 months he bought fuel at 730 per litre and he bought 45k fuel each day.
My first question is, as a driver who works 12 to 14 hours how much is he suppose to net after removing fuel money at the end of the day.
For those who didn’t see my first post concerning my brother earning on bolt, he drives 2006 4plug big daddy.

We have too much drivers on the road now, even 9-5 dey join us for this work. It's saturated and very competitive now than before. And these drivers get different motive and reason for this hustle, some just wan survive ,some dey HP and need to remit , some dey get sense while some nor get.

These apps know this and they are taking advantage of this, na to pray ,hustle get enough money and move on to another hustle

This are comforting words to make sense of you not doing enough. But to be fair, everyone has their limits which is created by them. Don't believe everything but be open minded to see things from another angle and possibly learn from it. Other people's reality is not yours, vice versa. Baba majority of car owners and Uber drivers and other e hailing drivers don't use coolant... There this notion that coolant is for abroad weather... Please keep in mind I invested heavily on e hailing early 2018

When we talk of coolant, we are not talking about abro coolant... That is fake coolant


My summary here is even if you are using the correct vicosity engine oil , and u are using water instead of coolant, u are deceiving urself, or better if you are using thicker oil thinking it will protect ur engine from wear and tear, and u are using water instead of coolant, the car owner is deceiving himself........

Now in terms of thicker, thicker oil should only be used as a last result.. Now if you need more engine oil protection after making sure you are using original coolant..

You can use high mileage engine oil. A recommended oil brand with a proven track record.

E hailing drivers this is specifically directly towards you....

The use of coolant instead of water 💦.. The mentality is that coolant is meant for abroad weather


Now if you are doing e hailing and your car is using water instead of coolant. You have no reason to talk about thicker oil to protect your engine because of extreme heat .. Your points are null and void


Using coolant in your engine helps regulate optimal temperature of your engine. Coolant has added addictives to prevent coolant from boiling like water.

Coolant absorbs the excess heat from your engine to prevent overheating and reducing wear and tear.. water actually does the opposite,

using water increase the wear and tear of your engine especially in stop and go traffic,coz water does not have cooling properties to regulate optimal temperature ...

Summary: if you using water instead of coolant, you are killing yourself engine faster , using thicker oil at this point to protect your engine is null and void. Water can not absorb heat like coolant, your engine is even working harder under these conditions....


I don't want to hear anything about thicker oil to protect your engine, if you are using water instead of coolant..
