If People were charged with felony. Then you need to look up for what you have to do before you are charged with felony. They were not charged just for protesting against a sitting president as we see in Russia. If you hi jack a protest and you start physically attacking people that don’t share your view or destroying public property or resorting to looting in the course of your protest, that’s committing felony. So not because they were protesting. People protest everyday. I mean everyday in the US. From one man protest holding a placard while standing at major road junctions showing his placard to motorists passing by to crowd gathering on the streets protesting so far the don’t resort to violence. No police disperses them. Police will only escort them to make sure it’s peaceful and not hijacked by rugs. That’s what a civil society does. People protest here everyday even over or stuff. Yes it’s there right. No one go about arresting them. But in Russia, you dire not abuse Putin. That’s a recipe for arrest. You know how many times people abuse Trump?
Are you saying capitalism is flawless? i can start naming one million and one things the United states do wrongly and the fact that protesters were clamped down on in Russia will look like a child's play.

Why should People be arrested for exercising their civic right. Protest is one of civic rights where I am. How many people were arrested during a protest against Trump? . Oh I forgot that Russia is a communist nation where the rights of her citizens are thrown under the bus. Russia is one overhyped shithole with no guarantee of human rights. That’s what is common among shithole countries.

Okay bro.. though i won't talk about the 217 people charged with federal level felony out of the 230 ppl arrested in the US during the trump protest in one state which is your backyard.. But we cool

call it anything you want buddy but over 2k people was massive. people can turn up for anti trump's protest cause you know why? US leads in world's democracy and US cops consent are solicited bfr a protest is made and yes even police protection is guaranteed

but everyone one knows in Russia protesters are suffocated or arrest for trying to fight for their right. and so over 2k protesters in a country like Russia is massive. go to heaven n return it's still massive cool
the fact still remains that his approval rating is sky high among Russians, and nothing 2k people being presented as massive do. he's gonna lead for another 6 years

Mr "i live in the US" we are talking about Russia, the place i school and live so i had to point out the fact that most of the things you said were wrong! i dont care about civility so long i'm saying the fact

actually the protest brought in more than 2000 people and any protest with even 1000 heads is termed massive

so as the clamp down on the protesters by Russian police made alot of them scampered outta fear and Alexie navalny who called for the nationwide protest was also detained shortly after arriving at central Pushkinskaya Square in the Russian capital.

so who now deserve wisdom more? you or I cool

4.6 Million women alone protested on president trump's first day in the office. across the US. and you are here calling 2k people in the group of 20s a massive protest, something we barely noticed but received a big media coverage because it is well.. against putin the bad guy.. dude go and find something better to do with your time

You school in Russia and you don’t know what’s going on in Russia. Education is not only about science and mathematics. It also about getting conversant with the events that transpire around you. This is lacking in your acquisition of knowledge. If you don’t watch tv in Russia ( although there’s no free media in Russia. They are regulated to promote Putin’s propaganda) why don’t you watch all the international media. Google can be of help to you to know what’s happening under your nose that you have been blinded not to see. I say it again, there have been massive protest in Russia against Putin toward his Inauguration Day.

Dude.. let me tell you. Putin is who single handedly made Russia what the are today after soviet union fell, forget western media, their main aim is to make Russia look bad in the eyes of the entire world just because they are the only ones questioning the United nation's decision. Russians are perfectly ok with Putin as their president and his approval rating is sky high

Hello Guys.. hope y'all doing fine...

So I just finished my BSC and wanted to go overseas (USA) and do my masters, or maybe any professional course/experience another country( not necessarily doing the masters)

I had Germany in mind but after discussing with my parents and close friends they said germany is out of it because of the language barrier and other issues I don't want to bore you with

So my dad contacted a travel agent who helped his friend's newphew and others enter the US to make inquiries..

So below is the 2 options (and Fee) the man gave

1. 2 year B1/B2 visa (tourist Visa I guess)

Requirements: intl passsports, visa fee (#54,000), travel history (#35,000), Documentation(#40,000) and then #650,000 to be paid to him once visa is out, he ddnt mention any ticket fee which means the total amount will go higher (he said I ll be going with a family moving to the US). And he also said he could help work this Visa for onward movement to Canada,

2. Student Visa

Requirements: intl passports, university certificate, secondary school cert, transcripts, processing fee of #300,000, CV

And then he further said once I get an offer, I ll be required to make a deposit of $3000, and then Visa application fee of $1000

So This brought up some questions in my mind I wanted to clarify before making any payment to the man which I hope people here with experience could help me answer (please!)

1. Are these fees correct (or at least within the range) or the man is just trying to rip me off?

2. How much should be my budget (school fees, accommodation and all) in my course of getting a masters degree in the US?

3. Is there any possibility of getting any job with B1/B2 Visa?

4. Is it advisable to skip NYSC in pursuance of a masters degree overseas?

I ll be so happy if you guys can help me answer these questions

Thanks
