I have tried to search into history to see if the accused governor got a favourable judgement from the court recently, but couldn't get any news.

Unfortunately so much of the criminal trials in Nigeria are never followed up by the media, all we know is that an accused would just stop being hunted or incarcerated or outlawed from his property. They just return to their previous lives and nobody knows how the case was truly concluded.

There is a guy called Elbinawi on nairaland, he has been steadfast in calling for Justice to be done in the matter of Sheik el Zakzaky and the IMN. Anytime I read his posts, I feel like crying. How can so much injustice be perpetrated by our own security forces against unarmed civilians and we carrying on as if nothing happened? Over a thousand Shi'ites were killed or missing and no one, not even the media or civil rights groups in Nigeria are doing anything about it. The Sheik is yet to regain his freedom as we speak. He has been held incommunicado without trial for over a year now. This is the height of wickedness and the perpetrators of this evil must not go unpunished. I am happy that this group (intersociety) is taking the matter of the Shi'ites and IPOB to the international community. Justice must be done and should be done quickly too
