Good evening. We can all contribute on the subject matter to enlighten ourselves without attacking our persons. I don't have to be a medical practitioner to have an informed opinion on the matter at hand. God bless you.

You must be one of these medical practitioners without a successful experience in medicine or nursing or whatever dept u work. How could you be so lame to be talking like ds? If I give you instances of what some silly doctors have done you will park one side. From wrong diagnosis to cutting a niece' kidney that was discovered not faulty by a consultant after they have cut it off. You are here yarning dust. You better be careful this night and go to bed.

Arrangements for blood are not made via phone calls especially in a public institution. Payments must be made, samples taken for grouping and crossmatching, a donor gotten and bled and all that. Shouldn't the husband be available and not calling the lab from his building site?

They have started shifting the blame as usual, your post failed to comment on the fact that no doctor spoke to him either via phone or physically in the hospital when he desired to see one.

I'm not in the blaming mood this evening. His wife was indduced by a DOCTOR after being admitted by a DOCTOR. She was reviewed by a DOCTOR and a second dose of the induction agent inserted by a DOCTOR. After the failed induction, she was reviewed and booked for Surgery by a DOCTOR. An anesthetist(DOCTOR) reviewed her before surgery and she operated on by a DOCTOR. If he was really around, and not attending to survey plans and site work, he woud have seen the doctors. Doctors are not customer care agents that must be on the phone 24/7. The mother inlaw was not even allowed by the deceased to stay with. her in the hospita.

While I sympathize with you, I understand perfectly the grief that comes with this kind of tragedy. However, it would have been nice if you had articulated what exactly the nurses and doctors did to 'Kill' your wife. However, going by your story, your wife had pregnancy induced hypertension(possibly pre eclampsia) and was probably admitted to be delivered by the fastest and safest means. She had a successful cesarean delivery following a failed induction of labour. It however appears that a post operative event which you failed to highlight led to her demise. While not blaming you, it appears that there were times your attention was needed to possibly make provisions for blood but you had 'survey plans, sites,etc' to attend to and we all know that time is of the essence in matters like this. May God grant you the fortitude to pull through this and may her soul find refuge in the shadow of God's wings.
