My only question is, did God speak to you himself or you went to ask a pastor? Let me tell you the truth, if God spoke to you himself and it has been working for you in time past and you are absolutely sure its God, then Obedience is better. But if you decide to place your life, marriage and destiny into the hands of a pastor(that might not even be happy in his own marriage) , so be it. Their is a reason why God can speak to everyone and not 'your pastor' alone. Didnt Chris Okotie hear from God before he went into all his marriages? Please note that I am not trying to undermine the anointing of God on him, but I am trying to show you how easy it is for the 'supposed men of God' to make mistakes(even in their marriages) Lastly, have you come across anywhere in the bible where it was written ;'always seek the face of your pastors before marriage' ? I would like you to show me if you ever come across somewhere like that. Or havent we heard of pastors that dont ordain marriages if either party is not a member of their church, is that message also from God?
