Eteka1:
What is the problem with these wailers set. You submitted your briefs to the supreme court long ago so that they can study the judgement of the PEPT. Thereafter both parties made an oral submission on Oct 30 before the Judges gave judgement.

Were you guys not expecting the panel to study the PEPT before? Or maybe you wanted them to study it in your presence, in court.

I don't know if any law mandates the CJN to publicize the names of the Judges he has appointed to a panel as soon as he appoints them. Especially when doing so will put the Judges under undue pressure.

Let's wait for the Supreme Court to release the full Judgement/reasons first before we criticize.
Don't mind the wailing miscreants.

Cyberterror:
In APC, Buhari will surely pick El-Rufai as the VP. Who he will pick as the President is still hard to fathom. In PDP, Wike and Atiku will destroy each other for control of the party.
Also limited resources will hurt PDP. They will fall victim to the highest bidder syndrome that has plagued the party.

If you go SE, like netpro said... you have secured SS,SE,SW as a bloc, the fight is left to penetrate the North even if the PDP goes North.

The Onus is still on picking reasonable people.
In the north, Buhari Supporters are more than PDP supporters.

Majority in SW will go APC as the zone will still hold powerful and strategic position in the party and in the new administration.

3 years to go. He will deliver. Also the next president will continue where he stops.

Those of us that reelected him, will still elect his successor. We can't afford to hand it over to some crook to dismantle and loot it all.

A northern candidate with a south south or south East VP will squash all APc machinations with the south west...

Comprende
What you are missing is that Buhari Supporters in the North are bigger than PDP supporters.

And in 2023, if PDP file any candidate that is not a Southerner, PDP will be humiliated, no matter who they pick as VP. If it will be a mud drag.

Everybody is talking about giving SE an opportunity in APC

But Is PDP ready to give SW same opportunity in 2023 ?
First question will be who? With the option of Bode George, FFK and Jimi Agbaje - it will be hopeless for PDP.

Another important thing is that even with Atiku, the possibility of PDP winning in 2023 with any candidate is a nonstarter.

It all on the desk of the ruling party

Choose south west and the PDP will gladly go North...
In the north, APC don't have supporters. Those voting APC are "Buhari Supporters". The famous 12 million votes is safe in the cooler for APC. All Buhari needs to do is raise the party's candidate's hand in the north and the deal is done.

The question is can an Easterner wins a Westerner in any APC presidential primary elections>
It will be more difficult at the party level unless the party zone it from the onset.

If it is free for all, I don't think SE can pull it off in APC party primary. But it will definitely work in the General Election.
Politics2023: The Two Most Powerful APC Zonal Tickets by netpro(op): 6:59pm On Nov 01, 2019
Come 2023 Presidential Election, APC have what takes to retain power. If well executed, APC will be able to win more States while retaining the presidency as well.

Here are the 2 most powerful tickets for the APC based on geopolitical regions in Nigeria.

1. South East (President) & North East (VP)
Having the party's flagbears from these regions will foster National Unity, grant APC access to a voting bloc it didn't have before and will be a step to healing of any misgivings of the past.

This combo will also be a big blow to the arguments from secessionists. And it will also give these two regions the opportunity to serve the nation at the highest level. If the main opposition parties file candidates from other regions, then it will be a landslide victory for APC - since it will retain its existing voters and new ones.

2. South West (President) & North East (VP)
If you base an APC ticket strictly on number of votes, this will be the most powerful combo. It is a ticket that simply have the voting bloc to deliver the numbers. In the APC, the SW and the Northern supporters of the APC have been through tic and tin together.

But no matter who is the Southern candidate for APC, the Northern votes of the party will still be intact. What APC have in the north are not "APC supporters" but they have "Buhari Supporters". He will deliver it, he always do.

2023 election will very exciting. With Mr. President not seeking reelection, it will be an open contest, determined strictly by who the candidates are, what platforms are they contesting, what resources do they have, who are backing them and how appealing are the candidates to the masses.

Based on performance I'll select:

1. Prof Isaq Oloyode (Jamb registrar) for President and El-Rufai for Vice.

Based on politics I'll select either:

2. Osibanjo and El-Rufai or

3. Oshiomole and El-Rufai

Tinubu should please forego his ambition cos I won't vote him. He's more needed in selecting leaders and settling political disputes than ruling as president.
I agree with the bold. Tinubu is a better as Godfather/Powerbroker than as President. Apart from the title, he has it all.
