grin
Hustlers everywhere you go.
I actually laughed out loud after reading the op's wild claims followed by the people that were encouraging him. How on God's earth can a microchip do all that?
Just like someone claiming to have 'invented' a battery that is capable of detecting pregnancy shocked undecided

michealade: i just bot ma tecno phantom today, pls i nid help..wana subs mnthli airtel can any1 help me wid d amount of mb and price a month cost
Michael, Airtel monthly BSM costs #1200 and is capped at 1Gig.
Recharge your phone with #1200
Send BSM to 440
You will receive a confirmation sms that you have subsribed to Blackberry Social Month (BSM) package.
You can use the Airtel default apn or use blackberry.net
To check your bundle balance, dial *123*10#
Cheers.

Sealeddeal: alright bro, thanks. how do I know the amount of data I have used? I have sent STATUS to 21600 and they replied that my data usage is within a fair limit. Equally I want to know if this BBC data is unlimited.
You can install an app that will monitor your data usage.
Or you check from their website.
Its not unlimited.

PhonesRe: Smart Data Subscription For Your Android Devices. by networkgenuis(op): 1:02pm On Aug 18, 2013
Sealeddeal: I started using that DroidVpn about 7pm yesterday but early this morning when i put on my data, the DroidVpn said that i have reached my data limit and have to wait till tomorrow. My question is,
is there any special way that the DroidVpn count its days cos i have not used my data since i switched it off about 10pm last night.
Equally, how can i do without being restricted since upgrading cost much like 14USD?.
Smart question.
You can use as many mb as you want provided you register a corresponding nimber of accounts.
For example, register up to 5 Droidvpn accounts, and make sure you dont use up to the 100mb limit for each account. When you've used up to like 90+ mb, just switch Account account. This way, you can use up to 500Mb in a day.

ewizard1: Pls, geeks in the house, when trying to help with DroidVPN, first ask what version of Android they run before giving descriptions. Android 4.0 upwards dont need Root or tun.ko.
...
Lemme know if I'm wrong.
You need root access to use the icmp protocol in all versions pf Android os.
As for tun.ko, I think you are right.
But if you are running a custom ROM like Cyanogenmod, you dont need tun.ko installer, it comes with the ROM.

Francheezy: Lumia.. Androidhuh

.
What is dream d1 doing there??
The op is obviously trying to be mischievous or just plain ignorant.
These new entrants into the world of Android won't let people be.
No wonder we have been inundated with some silly threads lately trying to compare apples to oranges.
I mean how can you even take someone that calls the Lumia 1020 an Android device serious? undecided

gentlepal: U better port to Etisalat that offers its 3gb for 1000 per month for Bis while MTN offers 350mb per month for 1000 Besides etisalat is cheaper n faster.
MTN offers 3Gig and not 360Mb. Don't mind their clueless customer care reps grin
You also get 1week free and #200 free airtime

duwdu: I'm sorry, but you're still misunderstanding & misrepresenting the guy; His condition was that he had exhausted his said data bundle, but that it's expiration date was still in the future. So, he complained to CC, using the logic that their data plan was too expensive. CC then asked him to send 2 to 131. This action then granted him the extra MB he got, (and was apparently able to use while the period of his original subscription had not lapsed.)

I think the guy was being sincere. He was just unfortunate to have caught unnecessary flak from those who not only missed the import of his message, but were also not facing the same scenario he was in. Such uninformed critics were thus not only unable to check out the guy's story, they could not have been able to benefit from his experience, anyways.

P34c3
I get your drift bro.
I criticized him hastily.
I will surely try that out when I exhaust my bandwidth.
Please anybody in the house that has exhausted his/her bandwidth should try it out and tell us the outcome.

Btw Duwdu Osun..... what's the bolded?
Hope its not a kind of secret frat code tongue

sammyashons: But please, one more thing. My playstore and facebook messenger aren't working when I use this blackberry configuration but work when I use the normal configurations. Please, any advice??
Many Droidvpn free account users complain of the same thing.
You may also find it difficult using yahoo mail app.
I really don't have a definite solution to it.
Try using different APN
If your phone is rooted, use the ICMP connection protocol.
lols ! Oversabi he said 131 nt 799,131 is strictly for anything concerning data(mostly),and during dat registration mtn gave 100naira nt 100mb,i was a beneficiary of that,so i dnt knw where u got ur own 300mb instead of 300naira oh!
My bad, #300 airtime. grin
Ok, send 2 to 131 and tell us the message you received.
I've tried what he said on two diff lines.
I'm open to ideas, working ones.
PhonesRe: Samsung Grand Duos Vs Tecno Phantom A+: Which Is Better? by networkgenuis: 3:18pm On Aug 15, 2013
I'd go for the Grand Duos.
There are more to a device than just the number of cores a processor has.
The Grand parades an A9 Cortex processor clocked at 1.2Ghz same as A+(though Quad and of older technology ).

Think about the hardware optimising softwares that Samsumg deploy in the stock ROM of their devices(touchwiz etc) which is clearly lacking in Techno phones.

Think about the updates. I won't be changing phones any time I want to experience a new release of Android OS.

Think about the support at xda and Samsung.

Think about the availability of parts and accessories.

Think about durability. The Grand Duos hardly scratch. Same can't be said of phantom.

Second hand value nko ?
The list is endless.
Techno is a good budget phone, it shouldn't be compared with other high end brands.
