If you read what some other comrades have posted here, you will notice their stories aren't adding up any longer....One moment, they said 200, then 500, then 600 and then 400 including stakeholder's list. Please, shine your eyes, dear applicants!

Even if you have your appointment letters, I will still urge you to join this movement and bid for collective happiness. Embrace selflessness!!

Morning folks, I'm glad to see more people are becoming aware of the situation at hand. Let's be on standby, kindly follow the handles. I am glad to know someone here has access to the media guys (Channels etc.) I repeat, if by next week, candidates on merit haven't started sharing testimonies, action should be taken. People ought to have started receiving letters by now!!!

Do you know, if applicants start to ask questions, it would not pay DPR and the presidency especially this critical moment they are all trying to paint a corruption-free government due to next year's election? However, there is still little time for DPR to do the needful to contact all successful ones.

I am beginning to believe you have a selfish ambition- and only folks with insight will see this.

Patience is virtue, if you read my previous posts, I urged everyone to wait for some time to see if people without connection would be contacted. Following the newly created handles is a form of staying alert. I am not urging anyone to pull any stunt for now, but if normal folks aren't contacted, then we would need to take action!!!

I was privileged to have access to the list of all successful applicants including scores, and I get classified briefing! I want to urge every one of you to follow the handles that have been created. If we are able to successfully to pull this stunt and all successful applicants receive their appointment letters, I will be the happiest man ever to live.

You need to understand that the 200 that are currently receiving APL will be against any form of awareness here, they will also be against any positive agitation. They rather keep you in the loop and sell you hope! DPR will need to be informed that [/b]we[b] know that they only have 200 letters ready; and that, they are about playing a dirty game with the other applicants. FYI:
i. The recruitment is largely on merit based! I can't start repeating what some real spectators had earlier mentioned!
ii. What you* just shared here is totally invalid! you might be doing that maybe you've been able to confirm your name is not on the list!
iii. The total no is 400! (GT 200+ EH 100+)
iv. Guys let no one deceive or instigate you.. people will start getting notifications(hv stated earlier it was the EH that delayed it)
v. Never give up yet until the process is over..
vi. There are list of successfuls for both GT and EH but only few persons had access to it.

There is still another list hanging. The total is 400!!! And that is the list consisting of most candidates on merit. Here is my concern; if the current APL indicated resumption date to be 13th August, all APL should be out by now. DPR agents are on this thread, they read what is going on, and I am openly questioning them to provide the APL of the remaining candidates.

I am not saying you shouldn't get in special candidates, I am only requesting that you are fair with this recruitment and release other appointments to ease the psychological trauma of all applicants.

It is WICKEDNESS on the part of DPR to only process 200 letters. They need to start working on other applicants, they should start sending successful candidates notification.

Most of the candidates on the list are from the North. I am not trying to start a feud, I'm only giving you the current status report.

I am not saying APPLICANTS should protest in a hurry, I am only saying everyone should be alert!! If no candidate on merit has been called till Monday, action should be taken.

How on earth can a government be this bad They want to rich to keep getting richer, most of these special candidates drive exotic cars already, they schooled abroad, they live in fancy houses, they have millions to inherit, some have well-paying jobs already, and they still have their part of the national cake. The recruitment is taking a new shape. If they have started giving letters to the 200 special candidates, they have to start giving letters to the remaining 400, they can't sweep this recruitment under the carpet and dash away the hope of candidates on merit!!! Apparently, I know how frustrating it is to be a Nigerian where nothing absolutely really works. Before I digress, here is the revelation;

Can you all remember a published article claiming DPR recruited 600 employees? Well, this is really true.

Stakeholders and special candidates are given their due slots. Stakeholders have 200 special candidates.

The rest of the applicants are to battle for the remaining 400 slots. Out of this 400 slots, candidates on merits are a bit over 300, the remaining slots are reserved for few top shots including FCC candidates etc.

Well, I feel I need to tell you guys this.

Apparently, the 200 special candidates are the ones picking up their appointment letters.

400 slots are currently openly published but in the real sense, they have already circulated an article claiming the number is 600.

I will like to officially say, the recruitment is 50-50 supposed to the 80% merit I had claimed.

If you have a link at DPR, you can confirm this.

I feel all applicants should come together. At this point, there has to be a movement!!! If by next week, candidates on merit haven't started sharing testimonies- WE WILL TAKE THE BULL BY THE HORN!! I will update you soon.

Pls guys, take a chill pill. No one has touched your portals since the last time few people got sms to update their profiles. Let me be plain, dpr doesn't have that time to start looking through everyone's portfolio. People were basically selected based on their average interview and test scores -Federal character then follows.

Ths recruitment is not that complicated, a single computer application made the selection based on your average score, availability of position and federal character. These were the things considered, your master's degree etc don't even really count.

Dpr didn't contact anyone through phone calls or text, if you really did get a call or text, some scammers are messing with you and I pray you are careful. Why not just wait to see how things will unfold, stop all these spot-on fantasies.

There are a specific number of candidates needed for each position, you get shortlisted if you rank high according to your state and political zone.

Several candidates that made less than 50% were invited for the interview, and numerous candidates that did well in the test didn't get invited. It wasn't as if DPR was being biased, it was due to the fact that they had to reduce the number of applicants.

Let me quickly recap;

1. No changes were made on anyone's portal- i'm 100% sure of this
2. Dpr did not call any candidate- if you got called by a strange number saying he/she is from dpr, you are on your own
3. How can they start typing letters when COC is not yet available?
4. Your course of choice etc is not the primary yardstick, even if you have wrong information on your portal due to system error, you dont have a problem coz, if you're successful, dpr will still call you for documentation.
5. Federal character is basic
6. If you score less than 80, your chances are slim, however, someone who ranked 2nd in his state didnt get the job due to position availability
7. You know what, just take a chill pill and wait till the list is out; you can never really be sure.
8. I had a good laugh when some of you said, you were sure you did well; like for real? Did you even get to see your scores? How did you know you performed well?
9. Just forget these stories and hope for the best
10. The list is still @ fcc
