Fulani herdsmen are Nigerians and they also have the right of freedom of movement, settling down e.t.c.e.t.c they should buy land or rent apartments like other Nigerians ...what's wrong with that? |

I dare him to apply whatever he has learnt from his religion in his mayorship and letsvsee if London doesn't die a sure death... Backward people that only get to consume and emigrate to finished product climes. Show me one comfortable nation built by Muslims alone . you should do a serious soulsearch on why islam seemsvto spread underdevelopment and ask your Allah to check the trend if he is capable |

shidof: what's your problem with where it happened. Tell us your region or your state and we can tell you how peace-loving and tolerant you are. stop being clever by half.the question is can this happen in a Muslim caliphate?? Like Saudi where non Muslims are banned from even setting foot in certain cities? Islam is just a backward looking school of thought that happens to be lucky to have tolerant schools of thought sharing the planet. More than one billion adherents plus the advantage of lots of money and yet no meaningful contributions to humanity aside washing of hands and feet and unbridled lust...islam is a total disgrace and should be thankful that many more people don't share their useless philosophy otherwise their would be no London to vie for mayorship in. |

I am from the SW and I know Obiano is three times more intelligent than Fayose but to an empty IBOs youth brought up to carry inferiority complex for Fulani, Poisoning the water that locals use to bathe and wash and possible drink is a good idea. Bolade005: My biggest regret is campaigning and voting for this government. Nothing is working and nobody should try to convince me that something is working.
APC is the biggest scam and this government is the biggest mistake to ever happen to Nigeria after the ineffectual buffoon.
The economy is dying. Everything is expensive. I still queue for hours to get fuel at #87. Indomie pack has gone up by about #300. One spag that used to go for 120 now goes for 170naira. I can't afford to eat goat meat as much as I'd loved to cos cutting cost. Ordinary Caprisonne for my kids no longer sell for #50. Now, some will say is it Buhari's fault and I ask them, is it my fault? Or GEJ's? Don't tell me nonsense.
I can't remember the last time I use my eyes to see light. I spend a large chunk of money to power my generator. It just keep getting worse.

layzie: I begin to wonder why a serious business man can't keep his cattle in a ranch and provide grasses for them, isn't this even cheaper?
Secondly, I wonder why government should also provide land in all states of the country free of charge for a business man to feed his cattle.
Is cattle rearing not a business? Are they not supposed to have operating costs? Shouldn't I for instance be able to supply them with grasses, if they can't get it for themselves?
Does the cattle belong to govt? Do these people even pay tax? Will govt also provide free land for me in all states if I decide to rear whatever or trade in whatever? Will I have free land in the North if I decide to plant millets in large scale?
Why can't we simply make laws stipulating the right methods of of raising animals, which is ranching in this case. Why do we keep complicating our lives when there are simple solutions.
And we have lawmakers doing siddon dey look. Smh. Can someone pls share the sahara link with their phone numbers, we need to begin to talk to these people. At least, let's know the reason why they think this crude way is better. you rock bro. Please what can we do? Can someone start an online petition we can sign?? Or a twitter hash tag or something... asorocker: So there is still something like southern Nigeria, I thought the southern Nigeria ended during Goodluck Jonathan era, an era where the south west collaborated with the north to force jonathan out of office for the post of vice president and finance minister.
Now I am hearing about southern Nigeria, please who revived it and when was it revived. The same southern Nigeria where an oba vowed to drown his supposed fellow southerners for voting a particular party.
Other southerners should be wise I feel you, but this is an existential threat to the south and if we don't unite against it irreparable damage may be done. Let's fight our common enemy first and put our house in order later. The Fulani have a very sinister agenda from what I can see. |

Chiefpriest1: About this bill, I think people should learn to separate politics from what is rational.
I consider myself a Christian, so I cannot support anything that would hurt those who believe in the gospel of christ.
I 've gone through the bill and apart from a little fine-tuning that it needs, I really don't think it's a bad one.
Some quick questions:
1. How many of you enjoy churches or mosques that are almost making you go insane in your area? Sometimes, it's just 5 members inside a cubicle making your life unbearable.
2. Is the bill only for christians?
3. How much do you like islamic preachers or pastors that preach hate.
4. Shouldn't religion be a private endeavour? Why should a muslim loudspeaker wake me up by 5am or a Christian vigil keep me awake all night.
Ps: I have my reservations about the licensing thing because it can be abused, though it's not even the government that's doing the licensing.
I believe that there has to be a way of curbing the excesses of these zealots, but dont hate that bill because you hate el-rufai.
By the way, the senator is a political arch-enemy of el-rufai, so must know where he's coming from. Let's not always follow the crowd y the my friend did you go to court to press charges against those that woke you up with noise without getting justice? This bill is useless |

And is necessary in the war against terrorism. Your analogy has no bearing with reality! who is CAN ? Is she a court of law to decide what constitutes hate speech? Is she a scriptural or even an unbiased entity? Are there no anti terrorism laws in this country as of today? |

You have your christian beliefs, just as I have my ogboni beliefs. How will u like it if I came chanting incantations at your doorpost in the wee hours of the morning. Its a no-brainer....your rights shld not trample on mine. there is nothing wrong with the bill. Besides there is no where christianity is mentioned there. If you must preach, do that in your church. Dont come and be screaming in my ears when you know u wont want me to scream in yours! the bill is hugely faulty my dear... How would you like it if I set up a panel of eckankar members to edit your ogboni Incantations Before you make them Its not about noise...we all hate noise...but just as an eckist knows little or nothing about ogboni so a Jehovah's witness or grail messenger or even a non denominational christian is very different from a catholic or a Baptist. That is why religion is a personal affair and must remain so. I never said everything is wrong with the bill...but in saying nothing is wrong with the bill you prob have not studied it. State controlled religion is a slippery slope...ask communist Russia ...China etc the later end will be very nasty. |
Politics › Re: What!!! El-rufai’s Preaching Law Will Promote Peace, Love In Kaduna – Aide by newbornmacho(m): 4:59am On Apr 10, 2016 |
This is beyond ridiculous. Listening to RL Rufai and his horde of paid pipers you are almost guaranteed to lose your cool and get down in the dirt with the shameless liars. There are many things wrong with that bill but none is as annoying and patently insulting as Mr el rufai purporting to tell Christians what their faith teaches. In drawing broad comparisons between Christianity and Islam he has betrayed a complete ignorance of ...actually a sick patronizing of the christian faith. One example : el rufai assumes that because his religion controls preachers and their preaching then Christianity must be subject to such censorship... Arant nonsense. The christian doctrine of the priesthood of all believers gives latitude to Christians to evangelize in ways that el rufai's bill seeks to stop. Licencing of pastors is as unknown to Christianity as CAN - a body of mortals with their own vested interests. If a christian or anyone for that matter, in performing his religious duties breaches the law then the state is well within its rights to apply sanctions; preventing us from worshipping God is a satanic ploy . we will fight it. |
