Rossikk: So studying mathematics in your traditional language is 'stupid'?
You clearly need therapy and redemption from your disgusting self-hatred. You know, I feel so bad for you because you're actually deranged (a small albeit significant deviation from stupidity) and most people on here would just continue attacking you, since they cannot appreciate that crucial difference. I pray you're finally able to access the help that you need, because these APC people you're working for/with don't give a damn about your well-being |

ch214: Bianca Ojukwu Chance To Preserve Her Late Husband's Legacy By Rejecting Tinubu offer.
Lack of Trust: Considering the recent cabinet reshuffle and sack of five ministers, Bianca may question the stability and trustworthiness of the administration.
Controversies Surrounding Tinubu's Administration: The president's leadership has been marred by controversies, including certificate allegations and economic challenges, which may taint Bianca's reputation.
Personal Reputation: As a respected ambassador and wife of late Biafran leader Odumegwu Ojukwu, Bianca may want to protect her legacy and avoid association with an administration facing criticism.
Potential Conflict of Interest: As Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca may encounter conflicts between her personal values and the administration's interests, compromising her decision-making.
Alternative Platforms for Service: Bianca may choose to serve Nigeria through other platforms, such as non-profit organizations or advocacy groups, where she can maintain her independence and integrity. Ojukwu does not have any legacy |

If he love Nigeria so much, why did he allow his son to be born abroad or acquire overseas nationality? Nigerian elites, which he is part of, are fond of telling people not to japa, while they enjoy the spoils of the system that have impoverished majority of the citizens His son wasn't born abroad, he got British nationality from his father, Femi himself. OgaDeyVex: A labourer, Monday Koja, working on the premises of a private university located in the Ajebo area of Ogun State, lost his life on Wednesday following a wrongful wire connection that led to his electrocution.
PUNCH Metro gathered from a police source on Thursday that Koja, a native of Benue State, while working with some bricklayers on the premises of the university, attempted to connect electricity for the workers when he accidentally connected the positive and negative wires.
Our correspondent learnt further that the impact of the wrongful connection was said to have led to his electrocution and eventual death.
The source, who craved anonymity because he was not authorised to speak with the media on the matter, said, “Today, on October 16, 2024, at approximately 6:05 PM, the duty officer at the Ajebo Out Post reported that the Chief Security Officer of Macpherson University in Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, informed the Ajebo Police Post about an incident that occurred around 4:20 PM.
“Monday Koja, a 25-year-old native of Oturkpo, Benue State, who resided in Ijana Alapako, was working as a labourer with bricklayers at the new site of Macpherson University.
“During his work, Koja, who was not an electrician, attempted to connect electricity for the workers as darkness fell. While making the connection, he accidentally joined the positive and negative wires together, resulting in him receiving an electric shock and subsequently being electrocuted.”
The victim was said to have been taken to the university’s hospital where he was confirmed dead.
“He was quickly taken to the Macpherson University Clinic, where the attending physician confirmed his death,” the source noted.
Confirming the incident to our correspondent on Thursday, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, told PUNCH Metro that the body of the deceased was deposited at the Ipara morgue.
She stressed that further investigation had commenced into the matter.
“Police officers visited the site of the incident and reported that there was no suspicion of foul play. It was noted that the mother and other family members of the deceased were present at the scene.
“The body has been taken to the Ipara Private Mortuary for burial arrangements. Further investigation is ongoing,” Odutola said.
PUNCH Metro reported on October 3 that a 24-year-old welder identified as Adedeji was confirmed dead after he was electrocuted at Nnamdi Azikiwe Street on the Lagos Island area of Lagos State.
The deceased was said to have been working on the site of a two-storey building under renovation when the incident happened.
The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, had said that Adedeji was engaged by his brother to work on the building.
Hundeyin had noted that Adedeji came into contact with a live electrical source while working on the second floor resulting in severe burns to his legs.

Kobojunkie: Wrong! The Nigerian Police Force was instead created by the Police Act which was amended in 2020— Police Act 2020— by the Law makers in Nigeria.
The Constitution instead required the existence of a Police Force in the Country. The makeup, and number of arms(agencies that comprise Law enforcement, etc.), of that Police Force, however, was left to the decision of the Lawmakers. The decision of the Lawmakers to create several arms for the Police Force(NPF, EFCC, DSS, ICPC...) is well within that defined by the Supreme Law of the Land.
The United States can be used as an example here. When it comes to Federal Law enforcement, there are at least 80 different agencies — DHS, CIA, FBI, Coast Guard, ICE, Office of the Inspector General....(there are so many of them, and they are all part of Federal Law enforcement. You're right, it also includes the ATF, DEA, Marshals Service, etc... |

AutoManual: I still think it's too late for mega refinary project.
Combustion engine is on the last stage of it peak. No world billionaires will build a mega refinary at this time as they consider future and long time projects.
In the next 20-30 years combustion engine will likely phase out in developed world. In places like China recharge cars, scooter, truck and bike has already taking over.
In Nigeria for example we don't buy new cars, instead we buy used cars from develop world. What this means is whatever they use is what we buy
If they complete stop combustion engine and move to electric it only means on the next 5 to 10 years those cars will end up here. So there is no future in oil.
Dangote should think about making engine oil and other products in other to recoup money wasted on that refinary on time. And it has reduced their use of crude oil.
Dangote didn't think about Combustion engines are still gonna be relevant for the next 100 years at least |
