This is how the "bases" being overrun looks like.
What defensive advantage does it provide? And when troops withdraw from these locations we call them cowards.

The gains of 2014\15 offensive and that of 2018 were all lost immediately the offensives stopped. During the offensives, the terrorists either move across the border to neighboring countries or temporarily return to civilian life only to organize themselves back once the offensive has lost its momentum. At some point in time. Gudzamala LGA was recaptured by the terrorists in 2018. Baga was also captured around that period. Unless the army can continue to be on offensive for years(the 7 division lacks the resources for this) or they are able and willing to man every cities, towns and villages, the terrorists will continue doing this.
Supercamp was designed to cut prevent the terrorists from having access to towns and cities for supplies and they've been largely successful and the terrorists haven't been able to expand since then, in fact, NA supercamps 15 and 18 are directly adjacent to their capital and they've never been able to overrun them. The only problem is that the army decided to switch to a full defensive mode. There should be constant aggressive patrols by highly mobile and protected unit from the supercamps to constantly harass the terrorists and keep degrading their capabilities. I have always advocated for the establishment of a mobile strike force to complement the Supercamp strategy. The 72 MSF should have expanded beyond what it was in 2014/15.
If at all they won't re-employ Barlow, they should at least make use of what they learnt from him while he was here.

Majority of the supercamps are also sited in South and Central Borno and Yobe states. There are only 6 in the northern parts of the state leaving many settlements open to attacks.

The recent increase in the frequency of attacks has been attributed to the NAF suspending air interdictions in favor of CAS which has given the terrorists enough space, time and resources to plan, launch and coordinate attacks.

Kidnapper alert.
@OP, Lagos to Minna used to be around 8hrs but I don't know how long it will take now due to bad roads. I used to travel from Oyingbo but not sure if that is still the case. Bida to Minna used to be 1hr but due to bad road is now around 1.5hrs and is no where near the 4hrs stated above. Have a safe trip.
Next time argue like a sane human. What year were you travelling when bida to Minna is 1.5hrs? If you never ready for 4hrs plus don't waste your time.

NYSCRe: Nysc Osun Receives Covid-i9 Vaccine by NewDelhi(m): 11:36pm On Sep 10, 2021
Jimsonjaat96:
The NYSC Osun State has received the Austrazeneca vaccine from the Federal Ministry of Health which is in line with the directive from the government to ensure that Nigerians are vaccinated to ensure safety of all and sundry.

On announcing the availability of the COVID-19 vaccines on Thursday at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Osun State, Ede, interested Corps Members trooped in to receive their shots of the vaccine.

According to an NCDC Official, Dr. Ademola Ayoola, who was present at the vaccination stand to oversee the process, he said the vaccine which had been issued free-of-charge to the Corps Members for adequate protection and prevention against the virus should forestall a breakout of the virus in camp as much as possible.

Furthermore, Dr. Ayoola explained that the vaccines will be beneficial  to the Corps Members who took them, in that the green card issued to them after the vaccination process is a required document for international travels.

Mr. Ayoola debunked the superstitious and population reduction misconceptions surrounding the collection of vaccines against diseases and viruses, opining that there has not been a time where vaccination was readily accepted by the masses but that it was needful for their protection and wellbeing citing former happenings with diseases and viruses such as measles, yellow fever and meningitis.

He reiterated that the vaccines issued for protection against the virus are scientifically tested and proven safe, adding that the sources and countries that supply the vaccines are well-known and can be trusted.

Conclusively, one of the Corps Members, a beneficiary of the vaccination, Aniagolu Ikenna Kizito, stated that he felt fulfilled, knowing that he is safe.
I believe littering the whole of this forum with unsolicited news about NYSC osun state isn't part of your work as a member of the OBS committee. Get busy and look for something else to do

I held sukura omo iya alagbo like my new bride and I was giving it to her with the speed of light, I was going at the speed of 5 strokes per second, then this dude that has 4 heads just burst open the mortuary's door and started chasing us around, I used the juju that Mr abija gave me to vanish from the mortuary alongside sukura. We landed in a cementary in songo ota but we didn't stop banging. Then a dwarf came out of one of the graves and started playing guitar for us, another dwarf came and was cradling my balls in excitement. I looked to my left and saw a one eyed guy with hunch back coming towards us, he held his microphone like no man's business. Few minutes later the 4 headed dude came and swallow my dwarf guitarist. I clinched tight to my sukura and we started banging and running, the 4 headed dude started singing, you can only run run run pass Terry G when you run mad. We ran for one hour and I was ready to ejaculate, as the 4 headed dude approached us, I sprayed my hot cream all over his 4 heads. It happened that the acid from my ice cream was too much for him to handle, then he died. That was when I woke up from the dream

You're right. It's all psychology. There's always this drive and eagerness to finish the food when the meat is still there . The moment you make the mistake of eating the meat first, the drive and hunger to finish the food is gone.

It's an infographic, it's one of the easiest means of communicating data.

It isn't designed for PhD students, the fact that you think it is so says much about yourself and maybe the environment in which you were raised.
How on Earth do you kids even reason. Go to an a average man on the street that knows how to use the internet to get basic news and start communicating with him in infographics.

This is not about tribalism. I have been to many cities in Nigeria like Benin, Asaba, Agbor, Enugu, Onitsha, Okigwe, Owerri, Aba, Nnewi, Lagos, Ibadan, Oshogbo, Ilorin, Offa, Jebba, Mokwa, Kaduna, Katsina, Kaura-Namoda, Okene, Lokoja, Kano, Makurdi, Calabar, Uyo, Port-Harcourt etc.

But to be sincere and candid, the only place I have seen the worst kind of tout(agbero) is in LAGOS. They operate with the connivance of police, army, etc. People like MC OLUOMO are products of motorpark touting that's so rampant in Lagos and southwest states. They even sow uniforms with ID cards, different groups like that, chasing people everywhere.

LAGOS is also known for traffic robberies which is even worse than motorpark touting.

Sentiment aside but that's the situation in Lagos. We must call a spade, a spade for once
They don't just sow uniforms with ID card lol. They also put a rank insignia on their uniforms. Check their shoulders you go see rank ontop.

The map is self explanatory
Young man keep quiet. You're not still getting my point. It's self explanatory to most of us but some average people will find it difficult to understand. This forum ain't a virtual PhD lecture room. Make yourself as simple as possible.

It's still your type that will be praising someone like honorable Patrick obiagbohan or whatever his name is ,blowing stupid vocabulary while talking to people when infact he is not communicating at all. In the world of communication, you have to make yourself as simple and plain as possible, you get my point? Majority of you are illiterates so I don't expect you to understand what I'm talking about. If you go to BBC, Fox, Bloomberg or CNBC and broadcast this kind of thing, they'll sack you that same day.

You are not communicating with PhD students of economics or statistics, infact you aren't communicating with 2nd to final year students of such discipline, you are communicating with a general audience consisting of different niche and you have to make yourself as clear as possible.

70% of the flags in your so called infographics don't even have names yet you said you're communicating splendidly. If I point at a random flag now and ask you to tell me the name of the country , I'm sure you'll be sweating like a man who lost his erection while trying to penetrate.

You definitely have to get a patch.. the console version doesn't have all these glitch .

Had mine at Apaaka High school Vandekiya Benue state.
My very first day at the school I was sad.
I actually cried cos it was a village school without basic amenities. Luckily the principal was around. He told me if i dont want to work in his school there's no problem but that the school really needs me. He said I would enjoy it. Well I wiped my tears and return to Lagos to prepare myself for the worse.

But the experience was life changing. I taught the students mathematics and physics.. The level of poverty was unimaginable. There was no electricity in the community and water was from well, but clean.
The students don't attend school on market days which is every seven days cos they take their wares to the market. Market day was fun day. They drink without caution and prostitutes alot too.
They are however very hospitable. I drank fresh Palm wine and ate alot of fresh fruits. Food was relatively cheap, infact the student always give the teachers food stuffs from their farms.
I fell in love with some of my students such that I had to assist with their school fees and organised extra classes for them for free cos they were super intelligent.

When I had to leave they cried and so did I.. They keep me updated about their success.
The bolded is really emotional.
