It is fake news yet has made it to the Frontpage of Nairaland and some media platforms. It's very easy to track. A criminal, not a ghost, created the fake news and pushed it into the media with conniving unpatriotic elements.

I recall a time such fake news was eventually traced to a Vanguard newspaper staffer. There was no strong Cybercrimes laws then but now our Cybercrimes law has been strengthened and should be further tightened to nip the misinformation warfare in the bud.
