Government should have provided an alternative for them, that's what they do in saner climes. All governors in Nigeria are guilty of this. You see them destroying markets without another provision for the traders for their daily bread. The new Edo state governor came and disbanded agberos (they disbanded the state police aka ESSN/vigilante before the election) without any placement even if temporary. Both the VGN and tax collectors aka agberos (we all know these are usually the criminal elements in every society even in the UK/US) are at home now. With the yuletide season in view, unbelievable/unreasonable increase in price everywhere, naira devaluation, etc. I can only help but pity law abiding and the vulnerable citizens around...

The Mother is incapable of raising the child and as a matter of urgency ,the relevant Govt agency should intervene and take the child to a foster home. The driver of that car should also be arrested.
