Religion / Shocking! Statue Of Virgin Mary Spotted Crying ‘real Tears Of Olive Oil’ by Newsmania: 1:01pm On Jul 20, 2018
A statue of the Virgin Mary has cried tears of olive oil. This was revealed by Catholic church officials in Mexico.
Church leaders in New Mexico say the seven foot tall bronze sculpture is weeping the same chemical substance that, when blessed, would be sacred.

Photos and a video released by the church shows the statue with the liquid on the eyes, cheeks, mouth and chin within the church premises.
The Washington Post reports the type of oil coming from the statue would be used in the Catholic church to anoint parishioners.

The phenomenon is said to have started at the end of May and since then it has reportedly prompted people from all over to visit the church.

Investigators are said to have examined the statue and the surrounding area and there were no signs of tampering.

The manufacturer in Mexico has also denied it could be leaking or secreting some substance.
The priest, Reverend Jose Segura, has said in his 12 years of priesthood, he has never seen anything like it.

Judy Ronquillo, the business manager for the church, said: “It’s something extraordinary for him. He has no words for it.”
Deacon Jim Winder said they have discovered no evidence that the events were man-made.

A New Jersey woman Heather Barbera has killed her mother and grandmother and leaving their lifeless bodies inside a blood-spattered, high-rise apartment while she used the women’s cash and credit cards to live it up in Atlantic City and New York City.
The 42-year-old Barbera, reportedly confessed to the July 7 murders of her mother, 67-year-old Michelle Gordon, and grandmother, 81-year-old Elaine Rosen after she hit them with nightstick.
“It was horrible; they were both on the floor. There was blood all over. I was hoping they were alive, even though they were dead.” Barbera’s uncle, Richard Rosen, told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Authorities closed in on Barbera just days after the slayings, using the stolen credit cards to track her to midtown Manhattan, where they eventually spotted her at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, police sources said.
Currently jailed at Rikers Island, Barbera is set to be extradited to New Jersey to be tried on murder and robbery charges.

News From Zenithnaija.com

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps says it will need N310m to feed and administer drugs to dogs that will be deployed in states for the 2019 elections.
The Nigeria Police Force will also require N7m to feed 50 horses that would be used for patrol during the elections which will take place between February 16 and March 2, 2019.
According to the Punchng, this information is contained in the 2018 virement proposal sent to the National Assembly for the 2019 general election by President Muhammadu Buhari. The total police budget for the elections stands at N30.5bn; the Office of the National Security Adviser, N4.2bn; the Department of State Services, N12.2bn; NSCDC, N3.5bn and the Nigeria Immigration Service, N2.6bn.
Buhari, in a letter he wrote to the National Assembly on Tuesday, requested a total virement of N228.8bn, largely allocated to new projects “inserted” in the 2018 by the National Assembly to offset part of the proposed cost of funding the 2019 general elections. The balance of N242bn needed to fund the 2019 elections will be captured in next year’s budget.
According to the details of the 2018 virement request the President submitted to the National Assembly, the NSCDC needs N1.2bn this year to prepare for the elections. The virement request reads, “Medical and general expenses for dogs, N143,782,000; feeding of dogs: N166,315,000. “Hiring of speedboats: N499,500,000; welfare packages (contingency of N7,000 per state and FCT) N259m; accommodation allowances for monitors: N185,000,000.”
According to the virement document, police election budget this year stands at N679m, with N7.7m earmarked for feeding of horses and N100m for printing of non-security materials. The police also asked for N87.5m for the maintenance of aircraft and N407m for maintenance of the vehicles to be used for election monitoring.
The budget states in part, “Feeding of 50 horses: N7, 719, 454; maintenance of existing vehicles for 2019 elections for the period of 20 days: N407, 400, 000.”

Sports / Fans Go Gaga For Cristiano Ronaldo In China by Newsmania: 11:42am On Jul 20, 2018
From Zenithnaija.com

Cristiano Ronaldo has been soaking up the delights China has to offer on day one of his annual ‘CR7 Tour’ along with sponsors Nike.
The Juventus new-boy jetted straight off to the Far East while the ink was still drying on his incredible £100m transfer from Real Madrid.

Ronaldo has touched down in Beijing where he was afforded a hero’s welcome, as fans turned out in their thousands to get a glimpse of their idol.
The Portugal captain made his way to the famous Lama Temple in the city, where he showed off his skills with a dazzling silver football.

Ronaldo took to his social media accounts to share photos of him performing the freestyle tricks at the sacred location, for his 136million Instagram followers to enjoy.
Captioning the snap, Ronaldo wrote: ‘Excited to be back in China! Ready to inspire the future of football.’

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United man was then called up onto a stage which had been specifically erected for his visit, branded all over with his ‘CR7’ signature logo.
Photographers clamoured to get a shot of the star, as Ronaldo applauded the audience and gave out a pair of his trademark Nike Mercurial boots.
Fans watched on, decked out in the colours of Ronaldo’s current and former clubs while holding an array of merchandise for the man himself to sign.

Juventus will learn their fixtures for the coming campaign, and Ronaldo’s first opponents, on Friday.
The football icon is expected to spend several days in Asia, where he will travel to different locations and meet a host of supporters.

It has been a busy summer for the 33-year-old, who announced his intention to leave Madrid after nine trophy-laden years.
Juventus agreed to financially eclipse the deal which saw Ronaldo move from United to Madrid in 2009, despite the player’s now ageing years.

Ronaldo has signed a four-year deal with the Italian giants, and is set to return to Turin in time for a few training sessions before making his debut on the opening day of the season.
