Adult video site Pornhub, a world’s leading free porn site has revealed the suitable location for their headquarters in Nigeria after reacting to a tweet asking when they will site their headquarters in Africa.

A Twitter user @shankcomics who inquired if Pornhub will consider siting its headquaters in Africa, had also asked if the headquarters will be beside Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), the University of Lagos (UNILAG), and the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) if it is eventually sited in Nigeria.

The report has since generated mixed reaction on social media, and comedian, Shank jumped on the trend.

The Bauchi state government has concluded plans to conduct a headcount of commercial sex workers in the state with a view to having accurate data on them.

Malam Aminu Balarabe-Isah, Permanent Commissioner in charge of Hisbah and Sharia implementation, made this known in Bauchi on Monday during a sensitisation workshop organised for commercial sex workers.

He said the information generated from the exercise would help the commission in taking measures aimed at discouraging them from continuing with their dangerous trade.

Mr Isah disclosed plans by the state government to organise empowerment programmes for them, as well as provide them with capital to start small scale businesses.

He explained that investigations conducted by his agency indicated that most of the sex workers took to prostitution as a result of illiteracy, poverty or maltreatment meted on them by their step-mothers.

He said that minor family squabbles also contributed to their decision to take to prostitution, assuring that government would make efforts to reunite them with their parents.

The commissioner expressed readiness of the state government to organise mass marriages for those of them who were lucky to get serious suitors.

Speaking on behalf of the other sex workers, Hafsatu Azare, said they are all willing to quit the trade on the condition that the Federal government empowers them economically, describing their condition as pathetic.

A Virginia police officer accused of pepper-spraying a Black and Latino US Army Medical Corps lieutenant and forcing him to the ground during a traffic stop in December has been fired, which footage went viral on social media over the weekend, a Town of Windsor official said.
Army Lt. Caron Nazario is seeking $1 million against Virginia police officers Joe Gutierrez and Daniel Crocker in compensation for his treatment, which he said was “consistent with a disgusting nationwide trend of law enforcement officers, who, believing they can operate with complete impunity, engage in unprofessional, discourteous, racially biased, dangerous, and sometimes deadly abuses of authority.” No attorneys were listed for Crocker or Gutierrez, and the pair have not responded to media inquiries.

William Saunders, town manager of Windsor, a small community west of Norfolk, said officer Joe Gutierrez had been let go after an investigation into his use of force against Lt. Caron Nazario on Dec. 5, 2020.

The investigation found police procedures had not been followed appropriately, prompting further training across the department, Saunders said in a statement.

“The Town of Windsor prides itself in its small-town charm and the community-wide respect of its Police Department,” Saunders said. “Due to this, we are saddened for events like this to cast our community in a negative light.”

“Rather than deflect criticism, we have addressed these matters with our personnel administratively,” he said.

The announcement came hours after Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam ordered state police to open an independent investigation into the traffic stop.

“The incident in Windsor is disturbing and angered me,” Northam said in a statement on Sunday afternoon.

In addition to the Virginia State Police investigation into the incident, Northam invited Nazario to meet with him.

“Our Commonwealth has done important work on police reform,” Northam said, “but we must keep working to ensure that Virginians are safe during interactions with police, the enforcement of laws is fair and equitable, and people are held accountable.”

Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring had also called the interaction “unacceptable.”

“The video doesn’t show anything to justify how Lt. Nazario was treated,” he said.
