The triplets comprising of 2boys and a girl, came into life in the early hours of 21st June, 2014, in a private hospital in Bariga.

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has survived a motor accident at Ewu Village, along the ever busy Benin-Auchi Road in Edo State on Saturday, December 28, 2013.

The incident occurred at about 9.45am at Ewu, in Edo Central Senatorial District, when a Peugeot J5 Bus filled with tomatoes and plantain apparently lost control and rammed into the Governor’s Flag Car from the opposite direction before swerving into a road side ditch.

Three vehicles in the Governor’s convoy were in front of the Governor’s Flag Car and had passed the Peugeot J5 Bus before it [J5 Bus] had direct impact with the Governor’s Car which had the Governor, his Aide-De-Camp [ADC] and his Driver as occupants.

The Governor’s Car was badly affected but the good story is that nobody sustained injuries among occupants of the Peugeot J5 Bus and that of the Governor’s.

The Peugeot J5 Bus was following a truck that was descending the Ewu Slope when it suddenly veered off into the Governor’s lane from the opposite direction and directly impacted on the Governor’s vehicle, apparently because of brake failure.

The Comrade Governor is hale and hearty, his ADC and other occupants of the Peugeot J5 are also in good condition.

A Mudzi teenager claims to have killed 20 people using witchcraft.

The 17-year-old girl confessed that she has been surviving on human blood. According to the young girl, she was trained to be a witch by her 60-year-old aunt who had been taking care of her since childhood.

"I grew up with my aunt and she pushed me to be a witch where she would force me to drink blood every day in a maize granary. Every evening I would drink blood before we visited people at night," narrated the self-confessed witch.

The teenager indicated that she started this horrific life when she was in Grade Five.

"I started this when I was in Grade Five and during the night we would visit many people. I would be told to curse any people whilst I'm standing by his or her doorstep. My aunt would be behind me and the following day they would die or fall sick. During the night I will be wearing a black cloth and my aunt will be naked. I killed 20 people in the process and if I were be to infuriated by anyone, that person would shortly die or fall sick," she revealed.

Pastor W.F Kumuyi, The General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, issued a warning to members of his church against celebrating Christmas, saying the annual celebration of Christmas is idolatrous and unscriptural.

Kumuyi warned that partaking in the celebration made Christians to go back from the commandment of Jesus Christ.

He said, “We don’t celebrate Christmas. It actually came from idolatrous background. That is why you don’t hear us sing what they call Christmas carol. Never! We always say it is the December retreat. We are only gathering together because it is the holiday period and love the Lord more, and rededicate ourselves more.

“When you find anybody coming in, or any leader, trying to introduce the idolatry of mystery Babylon, that they call Christmas and you want to bring all the Christmas carol saying that is the day that Jesus was born, and you don’t find that in the Acts of the Apostles or in the early church, then you don’t find that in the church either. If you don’t know that before, now you know.”

He warned that any of the church’s leaders that tried to introduce the “idolatry of Christmas” into any section of the church would be sanctioned, while also encouraging other believers in Christ to jettison the celebration as part of their sacrifice to perfection.
