I bought 2 brand new units of Hisesne Art Black Mirror 1HP Air-Conditioners and one brand new unit of LG 1.5HP Airconditioner last year, and since then I've realized that I don't need so many ACs since I live alone. Our primary focus is using a community driven approach to inform and develop intervention projects through a people, public, private partnership with various stakeholders. Program Manager Job Overview/Summary We seek a Program Manager for our Heinrich Böll Stiftung Nigeria funded Community Engagement Project (CEP). This 10 months project starts from the 1st of February 2022 to December 31 2022 with the possibility of an extension based on milestones and project success. This project is built on a pilot project in Ajegunle Ikorodu community, piloted in April to November 2021. That phase worked with the community to prioritize their needs on scalable outputs in the following areas: (1) Water (2) Education (3) Health (4) Waste Management & Sanitation and (5) Safety & Security and (6) education. This project is a spinoff on a research project by the community and the Pro-poor Research Cluster at the University of Lagos to develop a community resilience action plan to solve it basis needs. What is so offensive in this? Elon Musk doesn't have 5 heads; Dangote is still hustling, building the biggest refinery in the world, despite the fact that he's never built one before. So in the words of Burna Boy, "Why me no go find money??". I have 15 businesses registered and I sell from biscuit to real estate. I wish there were more people like me solving more consumer needs, then I won't be everywhere. I can't tell the story of my life and the story of my success and failures without mentioning how I made my first millions through Nairaland, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I don't know how some people focus on insulting, attacking, and mocking people on the same internet their peers are making a living. There are evil people robbing the poor with guns and weapons, there are others kidnapping the middle-class and demanding ransom. I'm selling luxury real estate which the richest of the rich want to buy in exchange for my 2% which I share with partners, collaborators and sub-agents who want to earn an honest living, and someone is angry. Labadi69:My brother, you really underestimate Nairaland too much. I've been on Nairaland since inception, and from selling event tickets, I've sold iPads, phones, laptops, TVs, ACs, cars, land, houses, I have sold politicians, and now I'm marketing luxury mansions, penthouses, and apartments. If all you've ever spent your time on Nairaland doing is spreading insults and personal attacks, then you don't know the gold mine you're sitting on. Also, I'm not insulting you when I say you should not have a one track mind. Aside from inquiries directly from Nairaland, merely posting your product or service on Nairaland generally helps you a lot with SEO of your website, blog or page. Do when a billionaire searches for keywords like "Luxury Penthouse in Lagos", my pages pop up higher in the ranks. This takes months and sometimes years, but when it eventually climbs to the top, that's when the quality calls start coming in. Please try to sell things on Nairaland so you will see the calibre of men at the background of Nairaland. I have had a Federal House of Representatives member call for a Classic Mercedes Benz which I posted on Nairaland some years ago. By the way, I don't live in a N1.5b house, but I'm in no way hungry. This year, the highest I've made is N10m from selling a single property, and the least I've made is N600k from selling a plot of land. Even if I sell the penthouse in Luxuria for N1.5b, I can't get more than N15m because the best they'll pay me is 2% and I'll share half of that across all the people who assisted me in the sale. The only big break that can come for me is after consistently selling hundreds of properties for developers, I then fully know the business, and have all the connections I need to start my own development. So my advise to you is that you should wake up and utilize Nairaland better, and stop looking at things in a small way. I hope that doesn't come out wrong, but I don't know another way to put it. Just as those of us in sales were protesting to MD, I got a call from someone who wanted to buy. He deposited 60% before the end of the week, and balanced the remaining 40% by month end. The MD now looked at us and asked what exactly we were protesting for. There are Nigerian who are willing and able to buy a house for N10 billion, but they can't find it to buy. Unfortunately, they have to buy the land and build it themselves which is stress they don't need in their lives. Some people still don't understand how much money there is in Lagos. We've not even gone to the Indian community. |

NOETHNICITY:Thank you my brother. I try to avoid arguments because they come mostly from people who are not in the target audience for such developments. I have posted houses for N20m and N30m, but you won't see them there. It is when you post a property of N10b that is for another target customers, that is when these other people will show up and start arguing. We already have clients coming forth from Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Instagram, however it's the payment plan that is stalling us from accepting their purchase offer. I will attach one of such requests. These people don't even have the time to talk much. Whether you need both though boils down to how intensive your cooking needs are. The Need If you’re like most people in Nigeria, you’ve not heard the term “wet and dry kitchen” frequently. A wet and dry kitchen, simply put, is a kitchen layout that splits the full kitchen into two sections for different, express use. The reason it’s not so popular is because it was born out of a necessity not idiosyncratic to this country. Instead, it was commercialized by Malaysians looking to deep fry or cook heavy / greasy meals that are traditional to their culture, that also result in strong smells throughout the house because of the cooking. In an attempt to prevent this, the “wet and dry” design caught on. The Layout The layout of the wet and dry kitchen is unique to each designer / homeowner / contractor, or whomever you have in charge of designing and constructing your kitchen. Usually, the two kitchen spaces are framed next to each other or as sublets of each other so there’s no traveling between the two. The Wet Kitchen The wet kitchen is the more functional kitchen reserved for the heavy / greasy cooking, and resembles more commercial features, like tiled walls and floors, exhaust hoods over the ovens, great ventilation, larger windows, and deeper sinks. Occasionally, you can find wet and dry kitchens with varying counters as well, with more durable countertops throughout the wet kitchen, like granite instead of quartz or laminate. The Dry Kitchen The dry kitchen is the “lite” kitchen. Often equipped with smaller heating devices like microwaves and toaster ovens, the dry kitchen serves as the breakfast and / or snacks cooking place. Decked out with counters and sinks like any other kitchen, it serves more of a community purpose. Most dry kitchens have more bar space for stools or chairs, the sinks are not as big or tough, and the overall space is smaller. The flooring may also vary to a more decorative look like wood or carpet than the utilitarian tiles of the wet kitchen. Find examples attached as photos below. Notice the spacious and social layout, the lack of an oven, and the cabinet space. Notice the separation between the wet kitchen and the rest of the house. The walled tiles, the exhaust hood, and the commercial, utilitarian layout of the wet kitchen. Notice how the dry kitchen is like a bar that’s adjacent to the existing social eating space and it’s only equipped with a microwave. The wet kitchen is once again partitioned from the rest of the house so heavy cooking doesn’t affect the overall ambiance, and the features are far more qualified for dealing with actual cooking. Tour Odeon Tower Penthouse in Monaco is almost $500,000,000 (N280,000,000,000). People need to understand what a luxury penthouse in a major city is. It's not just an apartment or a luxury apartment.
