I said it the other day na stats spoil football. Even a child will know that despite his brilliance Mats was the weak link in Chelsea system back then, he gets dispossessed easily due to his frailty. Lampard in his prime was competing with Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Henry, Shevchenko, Nistelrooy for top honours. In our UCL run to victory Lampard was doing the hard work alongside Mikel, Ramires and the mad man from Portugal while still providing goals and assists including scoring in the final shootout.

Meir had just an asist and two goals in that tournament.
