Christianity Etc › Re: Help! I Can't Pray For A Long Period by NextD18: 7:19am On Mar 08, 2020
Prayer has no particular rule.

Pray the way you can and allow God answer you.

You mustn't emulate others by over-stressing yourself just to pray.

Pray with your mind and soul, even if it's for 30secs, God will answer if he chooses.

Music/Radio › Re: What Music Are You Listening To Right Now? by NextD18: 11:39am On Mar 07, 2020
XhosaNostra:
Looooool. House is THE most popular genre in SA for a reason, South Africans love a good beat. We listen to other genres of course, but House will always top the list.

Beats can make you interpret or create your own message, no words necessary.
Lol, you dance? tongue

Like, real dance?
Romance › Re: Help! Her Husband Has Been Acting Funny Since This Happened by NextD18:
How many times have your sister asked your father about his will, that gave her the guts and impetus to ask a 37 years old man about his will?

Is she planning to kill him?
Has she written her own will?

A man needs no reminder to remind him on when and how to write his will.

These gold diggers parading as women in this country should get their asses up and start working hard so that'll be writing their own will and stop depending on another man's .

It's shameful!!

U are pained because Ebonyi state is making progress while ur Hamlet is being destroyed by natural disasters.
May coronavirus locate you.
In Anambra, specifically Onitsha.

If you want to give someone the insult of his/her life, just call the person "Abakiliki man", na bottle the person go use break your head for calling him "Abakiliki man".

You know why? Because Ebonyi people are seen as timid and unexposed set of people who behaves like the core illiterate and Almajiris in the North. smiley

Yes & most (if not all) South Africans love beats. "Message" is relative.

Good for you. Your prerogative.
Lol, you love beats, not South Africans because I've been with few. cheesy

Message? Relative? Can beats pass messages? Never heard of that.

You can't be so sure about the 2nd part of your post either because you're speaking from your perspective. English lyrics or not, the sound or beat may feel different. Doesn't mean you can't enjoy it because you can, but certain genres just hit differently, depending on your preference. As for me, some songs I genuinely like even when I don't understand the lyrics. Example are Eddy Kenzo's songs. He's from Uganda but I love most of his songs.
Lol, now I understand your kind of person in music aspect, you flow and prefer beats than the message it passes. Not bad anyway.

Aside Nasty C, most SA songs don't interest me. smiley

No, it's not patriotism. Nothing wrong with Wizkid, but I'd rather listen to House Music than any other genre because it speaks to me. I'm sure you feel the same about your own music.
You can't be so sure.

Any song with English lyrics can speak to you regardless of the country the singer hails from.
