My sister called yesterday to help her run some stuffs but I couldn’t but notice the unusual in her voice .. so as a sister I decided to ask even though she insisted all is well i was persistent.. later she opened up to me that her husband has not been coming home regularly for the past two weeks and when he does they hardly talk .. all this she said happened when she discussed with him why he should consider writing his will ( the man is 37) .. her reason she told me was because she had been thinking anything could happen God forbid with ways family throws wife and kids outside after incidents and all .. she stated that it’s not like she’s wishing him death but nothing bad in preparing for the worst .. my own issue is why are Nigerian men so backward in thinking.. couldnot stop to think why such advice should be responsible for a problem in marriage..what do you think .. please matured nairalanders alone should contribute as I’ll be screenshooting some feedback for her to see 2 Likes 3 Shares |

Obviously, your sister has ulterior motives. No sane man should Will his properties to his wife, not in this present age women are something else. Such woman like the OP's sister can elope with her boyfriend if anything happens to the husband, she can even remarry. How many times have your sister asked your father about his will, that gave her the guts and impetus to ask a 37 years old man about his will? Is she planning to kill him? Has she written her own will? A man needs no reminder to remind him on when and how to write his will. These gold diggers parading as women in this country should get their asses up and start working hard so that'll be writing their own will and stop depending on another man's . Will is a sad reminder of death. I'm a lawyer but if my wife should advice me on making a will I will resent at first and even wonder why she's needs me to make my will Even though as a lawyer I understand the advantages of making a will. I will still feel something suspicious. But on the other hand, truth be told the way the world us going, if he truly loves his family, no matter how little or assets he has, the man should not be afraid to make a Will, he should rather take the woman's advice secretly without her knowledge because anything could happen at anytime 11 Likes 1 Share |

What a greedy question. Does she know who will die first? Why should she even be thinking of death for a 37 yes old? Shes not a nice fellow at all. Imaging...saying anything could happen and family will be thrown out. Like seriously is that all that matters to her in that marriage? Cant she be a virtus woman and be praying nothing happens to the head of her house? She too should work hard to have something to will to the husband and children in case the inevitable happens. Tell her this and see her reaction. If not that I'm a Christian, I'll advise that man to send her away cos she doesn't have his interest at heart. Not only your sister is wicked but same goes to you for not telling your sister the truth , what sort of a wife will think of such thing at 37 . Robi65:My only advice is tell your sister to start working or do business and save some money in case anything goes wrong. There’s no trust in that marriage, the husband could’ve simply replied with “I know what to do”. but no he thinks he’s Dangote carrying shoulder up and down. Truly anything can kill a man.
