[s]was only considering the lighter scenerios in both regions. Now if we are 2 consider worse case scenerios,..I.e where a few hardened southern criminals caught in the act are lit up b4 police arrives, north still takes the barbarism cake,...wot wit burning up buildings wit scores of ppl in it just because a 'non indigene' rescued a 'blasphemer',...and a whole lotta folding litanies of similar occurences in dat region. A region where thousands of innocent souls are killed just because of a cartoon drawn in far away denmark can't really be talking about 'difference btw north and south' in terms of barbarism,..not dat any1 is proud of either scenerios[/s]

I do laugh when some Christians do say that we are in a secular state. Do you know the meaning of secular, it means a state without no religious belief(s). Nigeria is not a secular state but a multi-religious state.
If Nigeria is a secular state, why do most govt schools pray on the assembly ground with Christians hymns, praise and worship. I will keep on saying it, most Nigerian Christians are hypocrites.
To me all of them are hypocrites.

If it is compulsory, why is our First Lady not wearing it?
Why are many Arab women and those of Indonesia, Malaysia etc not wearing them?
When did the first lady become a model in Islam? Muslim ladies don't look up to Aisha Buhari for any islamic guidance the way u christians take PEJ as a religious role model. And when did all Arab women become muslims?

Then what exactly is the problem with the use of hijab by the muslims when u are not forced to use same?

Saintp:
If this is the case, wouldn't it be better for muslims to go to islamic schools where it is certain that they cannot be corrupted in any form?
Since other religions including traditional worshippers respect the secularity of the uniform and abide by it, why can't muslims abide by it afterall the school is just for learning and last for just few hours?
Other religions are okay without hijab because it conforms with their dressing.

An appeal can be made against the judgement and/or the state legislature makes a new law to address the problem.
Appeal? Over what has nothing to do with u? How does the muslim hijab affect u? Are u forced to wear hijab?

Hope you will say the same thing when Christians wear choir uniform to school.
They are free, the muslim hijab is not because of anything. It is simply a compulsory part of their dressing. If the Christians like, let them wear anything they like, when they are tired, on their own, they will drop them.

Nonsense! After the display of nonsense that happened in Osun, I'm surprised these Muslims are still clamouring for their female students to wear hijab.

This is why I've always reiterated that the law of the land should stand supreme, that no group have the right to force their religious habit(s) down the throat of government.

It's high time we separate religion from governance in this country. The clear presence of religion is causing enough squabble as it is already.
Whatever might have happened in osun state, hijab for muslim women is not negotiable.

This are my questions pls

I intend joining the army via SSC, after conversion, would I be able to command a parade and be allowed to get a juicy appointment?

And as we know SSC starts with one star, how long does it take for an SSC officer tobe promoted to d rank of a 2 star? RC peeps take a year or thereabout, is it d same for SSC officers?
As for parade, even before conversion, u may command. It depends on where u are serving and the availability of officers. Commanding of parade is not based on ur mode of entry cos a dssc officer may even be ordered to command while there are regular officers. Seniority is also a factor. But let me tell u, most military officers dont even like parade. Juicy appointment? Bro, that one depends on ur Corp and who tell u that being a regular officer suggests a juicy appointment? For promotion, I'm not too sure but I think it should be around 2 to 3 yrs.

Can a bachelor's degree graduate go for SSC?I'll be 23 this year and I have a Bsc in Statistics, which one of the two(DSSC or SSc) do you advc me to go for?And how do I go about it?Please reply its urgent.
I will advise u go for either navy or airforce (both are dssc). Leave army and their wahala, but if u prefer army, don't even think about ssc. Even the regular officers prefer the dssc for their children/wards. Forget all these people arguing about what they are completely ignorant of.

I pity this my aboki.. He thinks Lagos is just a State you make comparison to like that. He should have just said Maiduguri is more secured than Nigeria. He need to work tirelessly till the rest of his life to achieve the security feat in Lagos presently.
Although, I don't agree with the governor, which Lagos are u talking about? Is it the Lagos state of Nigeria?

Hehehehe, just read what u typed, compare it with mine then tell me which sense it makes. U know what, I don't brag about social status online. Those who do it are the ones actually suffering from inferiority complex cos if u are really comfortable, bragging about it wouldn't even be of any sense to u. Children and relatives of Generals don't come online to announce their fathers/uncles cos they don't know what they stand to gain in that.

am beginning to suspect your jobless that's why you envy them!!. Thank God you didn't say your father was a Gen but your uncle. To me I don't envy them because am living large.. instead of hiding on media why don't you go yeh into the world and start fighting any soldier that jump queue or resist him since your the same thing with them. But for me am not the same thing with them simple.. You can't even make noise when they come because you're the most cword as your sounding..
U dey mind am? Some of these people beefing military boys are just some frustrated Nigerians. Even if truly his uncle was a Gen, how does that translate into him being comfortable? What I know is that comfortable Nigerians are very friendly with soldiers.

I have done it and still do. It is only because Nigerians are usd to lawlessness that you think what they are doing is OK.
Non queuing at atm is even the least of privileges military personnel enjoy in advanced countries. They have free access to a lot of things. Military personnel don't pay for transport by rail in some of these countries. If such an idea is raised in this country, some of u will just hug life transformer. This is why I say, comfortable guys don't beef the military boys cos if u have any business going to the airport, u will know that even in Nigeria, military men don't pay at the toll gate.

Calm down nigga make your blood no dey hot

These other countries you talk of their soldiers dont behave like you thats why their citizems treat them like heroes. You cant treat people like shìt and expect them to show you love. You signed up for this job no one forced you of you dont feel appreciated quit nah wetin be all thos sacrifice abi dem no dey pay you allowee ne?
I have a way of identifying poverty stricken Nigerians. Most of them are always angry with security personnel. Comfortable Nigerians don't beef the military boys, rather, they are usually best of friends. grin

You have already displayed your stupidity by using the word (CIVIL). We are talking about Military personnel and your telling a military man to be Civil?. Come to think of it, Somebody from Imo or Ogun state fighting in Borno state inside Bama, Kumshe, Damboa or Dikwa no network just enter town to withdraw money and people he was there fighting for expect him to join queuehuh. Do you know that as long as you put on anything military uniform in Maiduguri your BH targethuh. Have you been in other country to see how they treat their soldiers like hero??. Somebody sacrifices his life for you is that too much for you to do for himhuh. Guy think well and stop reason through your anus please
Some people are just too stupid to even be called monkeys. They are expecting soldiers who just accompanied their Oga to town after spending weeks in the bush to go and join queue.
