I am not also married (single)
Monthly salary? I am into business. so months can be few thousands and some months few million. (all these funds are always entering and leaving within days. The 6 months statement from the account I submitted was close to 27M but 1.1M was the available balance before I submitted my application on the 8th of Feb 2019 (Paper submission Lagos).

Conference related to my work? No not related I never knew until the day I submitted my application cause an agent told me there was a Canada link that invitation will be sent that all I needed to do was provide my passport and data while they handle the rest.

I never knew what they (agent) were using to prepare my travel until the day I submitted and this does not relate to what I do.


Documents I can remember I submitted because I just glanced through before submiitting that day.

1. Reference letter from my bank
2. 6 months bank account state (over 25m inflow and outflow for 6months steadily active with 1.1m available balance before I submitted)
3. two landed properties receipts
4. The conference invitation reservation/confirmation letter (about $700 payment was made for the conference)
5. Letter of introduction from the nigeria organisation they used for the process
6. Letter of self introduction
7. Letter of confirmation of the same organisation
8. Hotel reservation (wish I also confirmed myself by calling the hotel)
9. Flight booking
10. Payslip (some months) from the same nigeria organisation used.

The only thing strange to me is the organisation used on my behalf. But every other things used that I also provided are all correct.

Please whats your advice and suggestions as regards reapplying now or later. I wasn't desperate to travel until a friend told me about this agent link because somebody we know from this agent got his last year

Travel history is very important here
Travel to any schengen area or some part in Asia before reapplying to Canada.

But wait you paid $700 for the conference
You submitted only your business account?
But 1.1m is not fair enough for Canada trip.
Closing balance is also very important

Finally your ties is somehow weak.

it's a corolla 03/bank model and America spec. . I only recently changed the coil, because the transmission wasn't smooth which I did few days before this check engine light blink. lately I have also serviced the injectors, changed the air filter, fuel pump and I have also had to cut another key because the former cut inside the ignition pack. It was actually going off while driving a times and when I put on the a/c on. I will have too snap the engine bay tomorrow when I get back to the location. those are the most I can remember for now but any question you ask I might be able too answer. you see the standard of living is cheap here no excess tax, even couples are getting clever and not borning more than 2 kids

we pay rent yearly, so with 500k, i can rent a 2-3 bedroom flat in a good area in the mainland.

my kids can go to good schools and we can even go out on weekends, if i save well we can go for holidays in cheaper countries in africa

you can call Nigeria whatever names you like the fact remains that you cant build a country, if you were so smart instead of complaining you would have build your village instead of running out of Nigeria to an already built country.

Nigeria is not a paradise but people are still making it here even some of your brothers and sisters return home to get recognition because they couldnt get it there
