CelebritiesRe: "I Didn't Marry An 'underage' Regina", She Told Me She Was 21 - Ned Nwoko by Nfora: 10:02am On Nov 13, 2025
Obvious case of forgery!

Only Regina can be held liable for the age discrepancy between voters card and international passport.
CelebritiesRe: "I Didn't Marry An 'underage' Regina", She Told Me She Was 21 - Ned Nwoko by Nfora: 9:42am On Nov 13, 2025
AKONE:
This claim of Ned doesn't make sense. She told you she was 21, but you found out she was 19 from the Voters card, but a more reliable means of identification (International Passport) which you used in travelling with her shows that she was 17. Who is fooling who?
Seems you have challenges with simple arithmetic. Can't you see from the voters card that she was 21?

Instead of condemning a likely case of forgery you are there trying to rationalise why international passport is more reliable than Voters card. Which of them is not forgeable with forged birth certificate?

Thank you Daddy trump.

Sanction us please.

The christian genocide crooners will be exempted from these sanctions. Including the Christians.

We just need ID card that says I'm a Christian Jew that worships white overlord, and boom, automatic exemption.
Bad Boy grin

The same thing applies to military action. They think the remaining unhurt terrorists would not mix with the civilian population when bombs start landing grin

How many countries has USA completely liberated from terrorists?

The only solution is African inter-regional military and intelligence cooperation cum collaboration.

Great point.

Moreover, two wrongs cannot make a right. Very wrong timing to claim any entitlements.

None of them could have gotten to limelight without the country ,Nigeria.

So sad.

Anyway they would surely lose their market value with absence at the world cup, that is very certain!
PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu Blasts Justice James Omotosho, Rages In Court Uncontrollably (Video) by Nfora: 4:49pm On Nov 07, 2025
chiagozien:
PUBLIC BRIEFING NOTE: 07.11.2025.

TODAY’S EPIC BATTLE BETWEEN MAZI NNAMDI KANU & JUSTICE JAMES OMOTOSHO AT ABUJA FEDERAL HIGH COURT

Issued by: Onyedikachi Ifedi, Esq. (reporting from a tense courtroom)

1. Overview of Today’s Shocking Court Developments
The electrifying proceedings in the case of Federal Republic of Nigeria v Mazi Nnamdi Kanu before Justice James Omotosho took a disturbing turn today, raising serious public concern over the integrity of the judicial process. Multiple actions and pronouncements made by the presiding judge have been widely described as unprecedented, hostile to fair hearing, and blatantly contrary to constitutional standards of criminal trial.

2. Judge Unable to State the Law Under Which Kanu Is Being Tried
In open court today, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu demanded repeatedly that Justice Omotosho identify the specific written law under which he is being tried.

Despite multiple direct requests, Justice Omotosho could not cite any written law creating the alleged offence. Instead of addressing this foundational constitutional requirement, the judge evaded the question.

For the avoidance of doubt, Section 36(12) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) provides:

“A person shall not be convicted of a criminal offence unless that offence is defined and the penalty therefor is prescribed in a written law.”

Kanu made it clear to the court that no conviction can stand without a valid written law, and that his faith is on Section 36(12) of the Constitution, not on the judge’s personal views.

3. Judge Failed to Acknowledge the Use of a Repealed Law
Kanu moved a formal motion to expunge his plea from the court record on the grounds that the charge was founded on a repealed law.

Rather than taking judicial notice—something every judge is bound to do under the Evidence Act—Justice Omotosho sidestepped the issue. The court refused to acknowledge that no one can be tried under a repealed statute, a position anchored in Nigerian and international law.

4. Omotosho Blocks Final Written Addresses – A Disturbing First in Nigerian Criminal Trial History
In a move that has stunned legal observers nationwide, Justice Omotosho announced that he does not want any final written addresses from either party.

This is widely viewed as an aberration and a dangerous departure from established criminal procedure. Final written addresses are:

A core component of fair trial
A mandatory stage before judgment
The primary avenue for defendants to challenge evidence and raise points of law
No credible record exists of a trial judge in Nigeria deliberately blocking final addresses in a criminal case. Legal commentators have described this as a judicial ambush.

5. Kanu’s Final Word to the Judge Today
In response to the judge’s position, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu told the court that he does not care what Justice Omotosho says, because the Constitution is supreme:

He stated clearly that Section 36(12) CFRN forbids any conviction without a valid written law, and that no court can override the Constitution.

6. Public Concerns and Implications
Today’s proceedings raise grave questions:

Why is a judge avoiding reference to the law he claims to be applying?
Why refuse written addresses unless the goal is to avoid legal scrutiny of a predetermined outcome?
Why is a court entertaining charges tied to a repealed law?
These developments undermine public trust in the judiciary, and today’s events have intensified public, legal, and international concern over the fairness of this trial.

Conclusion

What transpired in court today is not a normal judicial process. The actions and statements of Justice James Omotosho reflect a troubling pattern of procedural irregularities, disregard for constitutional safeguards, and hostility to fair hearing.

This briefing is being issued in the public interest to ensure transparency and to document the concerning conduct observed in today’s proceedings.

More details later...
Just cool temper.

I could read the mind of the judge:

No need to waste time on final written addresses because Kanu has no case to answer.

You can take this to the bank, whilst we wait for final judgement!

BusinessRe: No need for separate TIN to operate bank accounts — FIRS Official by Nfora: 4:37pm On Sep 15, 2025
Confused and incompetent FIRS official.

The NTA Act is very clear and unambiguous.

4. Every taxable person shall register with the relevant tax authority and
obtain a Taxpayer Identification (Tax ID) for the purpose of compliance
with tax obligations.

8.
(2) A person engaged in banking, insurance, stock-broking or other
financial services in Nigeria shall ensure that every taxable person provides a
Tax ID.

Therefore, the law has made it compulsory for every taxable person to undergo REGISTRATION with relevant tax authority.

No FIRS official can twist or modify any law other than the National Assembly.

Only an amendment can fix the very obvious duplication of numbers.

I watched the match live on Super Sport and they were lucky it ended only 4-0. It should have been 8 or 9.

Nigeria only does well in international football because other leagues in Europe have given our foreign based players exposure. They no longer have an inferiority complex like they used to have in the old days.

The home based Eagles are products of the Nigerian environment so it shouldn't come as a surprise that all the incompetence and lack of intelligence which is deeply embedded in the Nigerian system has rubbed off on them
Rubbish talk!

Did Sudan use foreign based players to beat us 4-0?

Is Sudan football environment better than our own?

I admire his hustle anyway.
You were probably not born when Sowore started his activism in the university, rejecting monies and bribes.

I just wonder why ignorant people like you keep on hammering on grants, grants, grants, up and down.

The one-off grant Sowore got long time ago, was to support his then start-up journalism business now known as Sahara Reporters.

He applied for the grant, merited it and got it!

Lazy man,go and apply for your own grant na and see if it's that easy to get foreign grants without meriting it.

By the way, what is even wrong in getting financial support for journalism/human rights activism? Can you do activism/journalism without funds to investigate issues, compensate workers and supporters, travel and mobilize people?

Nonsense!

The problem is those cars from the East are largely right-hand drive. Are you ready to do the conversion here in Nigeria?

Also, you don't get exactly the same model. Haven't you seen European-made and Eastern-made Camry, Corolla, Accord, Civic, Hiace, etc. Same engine and little difference in interior.

Another issue is bad wagon mentality of our people. Even though they have same engine, but they believe they are not strong
Cars in China are left hand drive.

I specifically mentioned Japanese brands of cars because I’m not interested in Chinese brands. What I’m saying is that the 2012 Toyota Corolla we usually buy from the U.S. or Canada can also be found in countries like China, Qatar, and the UAE.

What I’m unsure about is whether there’s any real difference between them — and that’s why I’m making this post, to get some insight. The East is geographically closer to Africa than the West, which means lower shipping costs. Additionally, prices for these cars in the East are generally cheaper than in the West.

Aside from possible differences in durability, I’m not sure what else sets them apart. I’d really appreciate input from more experienced folks here.
Europe is closer to Africa, than China
