According to my maternal cousin, he met his senator yesterday for a job opportunity, and the distinguished asked him only one question, how old are you? He said 42. And he was told to go and look for alternative, that the bench mark for employment is 35, that he can't help. Please make hay while the sun shines. It is well with our country.

SMH! The distinguish Senator that might be above 60 years old is there using age criteria to deny someone that’s not up to 45 years old opportunity. Just know that he doesn’t want to assist your cousin.

If the trend of viewing other political parties as threats and attempting to disrupt their activities continues unchecked, it will set a very dangerous precedent in Nigerian politics, one whose aftermath could turn into something unimaginable.

This is reminiscent of how insecurity began in the form of Boko Haram in the past. Instead of joining forces to defeat the common enemy, politicians played politics with the crisis, and today it has degenerated into bandits, kidnapping and all other forms of insecurity that has overwhelmed security forces and almost overrun every state in the federation.

Those cheering on the violent activities of ruling party supporters should tread carefully, because they are setting the political terrain on fire. When opposition party supporters eventually grow tired of the violence being unleashed upon them and decide that enough is enough, an “eye for an eye” response will set in, and when it does, it will consume everyone without exception.

The violent activities of ruling party supporters against the opposition are already getting out of hand. All parties must exercise caution. No one has a monopoly on violence.

For those who applied for FIRS before the 2nd of Nov, is it safe too apply again or we should make do with our previous application?

I think is safe to re-apply since there is no disclaimer regarding double application.

Also, what if they decide to consider only the application they received from the date they officially announced the opened of the portal.
