This is the New look of Bama the largest city in Borno that was once operated majorly by Boko Haram Militants and at a time they took over the city in 2014. The Nigerian Soldiers has now Successfully overpowered the militants and they have restored peace and calm in the city.

Department of Immigration Services in Kenya revealed via social media that over 25 Nigerians were arrested today in Kasarani, Roysambu, Mirema area of Nairobi, for being in the country illegally after their visa validity elapsed.

Some residents in Lagos state today staged a protest at the Custom's office on Moboloaji Bank Anthony way, Ikeja, over the death of a motorcyclist, Omotosho Zaheed who was allegedly killed by some customs officers at Mosalasi bus stop, Alagbado, Lagos State last week Thursday.

According to the protesters, the officers had on the day of the incident, intercepted a trailer load of bags of rice believed to have been smuggled into the country. Hoodlums in the area tried to stopped the officers from going away with the bags of rice.

In the process, the officers called for reinforcement who came in and started shooting sporadically. One of the bullets ripped through Zaheed's back, killing him on the spot.
