Thanks for the information shared on this platform...

Please ehn, if one wants to use sponsor, does the POF has to show closing balance of the amount to be covered despite there are huge inflows and outflows in the account?

Any idea pleasssssse...

You just nailed it dear!
Toceen2022:
Lemme tell you a straight fact... There's nothing like looking at this thing in another angle. No matter how long someone has been on this thread, it's certain that the person joined one day. So imagine when him/her Joined, and started asking questions, no one answered, please tell me, will the person still be here? Absolutely not!
They may end up paying agents huge amount of money, because this platform is the only reliable DIY you can ever see. Even agents always hang around for information/knowledge.

This platform has been in existence for over a decade (based on the other threads I've checked out). And it continues to be because many people keep giving information based on new developments. If it was to stopped in thread 10 or 11, we will only be available with outdated information... Providing timelines keep this thread going with latest updates and informations.

If I asked a question here and I get answers within few hours or a day, then I'm expected to also provide my timeline within few hours or a day after my PPR. Anything outside that shows I'm pathetically ungrateful, and this applies to anyone who is on this thread.

Silent reader mode deactivated.

Its PPR guys! God is indeed faithful.

Family application. Study visa for kids and SOWP for spouse. I used the GCkey Portal.

Here is my timeline:

Submission: May 4, 2022
Upfront Medical for all: May 10, 2022
Biometric done and Updated: May 13, 2022
Medical Passed for all: May 19, 2022
Eligibility Review: June 9, 2022
BVL/PPR: June 9, 2022

This is to encourage those who want to go for family application that it is doable. Details of documents submitted will be posted soon. I got worried at some point because I did not include Police Clearance Certificate. But we got the approval without it.

I gathered all the information I used for my application from this platform. God bless you guys! The commitment to the success of others on this platform is amazing.

1. Post Baccalaureate Diploma is an undergraduate qualification meant to prepare a student for masters. (Source:
https://calendar.carleton.ca/undergrad/regulations/academicregulationsandrequirementsforpostbaccalaureatediploma/)
, whereas, Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduate Certificate is a post graduate qualification meant to prepare student for quick entry into practice and licensing, and can also be used to further study at master's degree level. Sometimes, it is on equal footings with professional or course-based masters.

2. Yes, both qualify for PGWP.

3. While applying for your study permit, you can include your spouse and children (dependants), they may qualify for either work permit, study permit or visit visa. (Source: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1482&top=15). Although the source is quoting for Student Direct Stream, but it applies to regular stream as well.

Thanks for your response Makano, can I contact you please?
What do you say about the other question?
Just let me reach you
makano:
Hello Niaso

Yes you can, but you have a slim chance of getting your study visa approved compared to going alone and using your family members as strong home ties. You can as well go with your toddler, but you must obviously lay emphasizes in your SOP that you can't afford to leave your 9 month baby behind while you go study in Canada..

Peace

This thread has really done wonders!

Please a quick one
I recently got an offer letter from KPU for PGD

Can I apply for a study visa together with spouse open work permit and child visitor visa all at same time considering baby is still a toddler (9months)
If yes to question above, how much fund do I need as proof of fund in naira? Can mother inlaw serve as sponsor with her company statement and CAC?
