Oga stop forming.I am not in your class.Do you think I can sit in a office for 200k. They hype yourself. You are making 60m , spending 80m , story for the God. Who asked you question in the first place. You turned yourself to D.A Fagunwa dey tell us story. Your 200k is 2.4m per annum gross, so where is the 60 million coming from. Empty barrel make the loudest noise, I am not here to drag with you. All I know is that if your naration is real, you are living beyond your means. I am not spending 18m annually and my family are living happily including a vacation abroad annually.
Why are u angry on another person post. He never asked u for advice.

U sounded very pained. Stop displaying this kind of unreasonable attitude outside.

In his write up,he said thank to his side income.

Meaning he has an additional income that makes up for him...so why are u angry?

Everyone should ensure he or she avoids being killed by any terror group by all means possible.

Nigeria govt is not ready to deal with extremism.

When they are ready and prepared,we shall all know then.

Just don't let anyone to kill u and avoid going to dangerous places around the country.

Nothing is pressing about suggesting a woman should take a gamble with what is her life with a man when we know today that the vast majority of those who did that in the past ended up filled with regret and hate for themselves and the decision to settle for less. The vast majority of the married women in Nigeria who gambled their lives on potentials and dreams are today living in abject poverty because of that. And many of these women had to abandon their dreams, jobs, and careers to gain nothing of worth in return. 🥱🥱🥱

Encouraging what should now be considered a great vice is a clear indication that one does not have the good of women at heart.🥱🥱🥱
And majority who went for the money aren't crying too?

Marry who u can grow with.

Oh nice.

But 1 question, since money wasn't the problem right from onset, do you think if today money becomes a problem (God forbid, won't ever be your portion) she'd still stay loyal to you?

Just saying, you should think about that too.
When I wanted to marry my wife in 2015,her mother went to my village to find out more about my family.

Do u know what they told her, they told her that we were poor with integrity.
And my mother in law said, poverty is of the mind and they too were poor before things got better and after that,my mother in law and her son jointly gave my wife the go ahead to accept the proposal as what they were interested in was peace of mind and honest family where there is love.

This is a family I can die for.

You said OP is right and wrong, but did not clarify any of this in your comment. undecided

Your wife is lucky that, in your case, things turned out better than they were when she first met you. However, for the vast majority of women out there who married men who earned less at the time, the reality did not turn out the same. That is partly the reason why almost 50% of married women in Nigeria today are breadwinners. Of the others who were not breadwinners, many of them who were not able to attain financial independence before marriage(and maintained it in marriage), a large portion are financially abused by their spouses in marriage. undecided

What OP expressed is a preference many women have, and there is nothing wrong with their choice. Additionally, that choice is facilitated when the woman is financially independent before and throughout the course of the marriage, as we are all aware that even rich men can be stingy towards their own wives and children. undecided
My reason is that, she is already right in her thinking and u can't force an adult whose mind has been set on something...u cam only be talking.

I had to dwell on the part which is most pressing.

She didn't know...I was the one who told her few years in our marriage because she saw that money wasn't a problem and it was coming in.

I am sorry to say this to ya face. I can't date a broke man.
Can't respect a man that's not earning more than me. Reality has proven money's the engine if love so don't preach to me.

What will be used in taking care of my skin, my needs and all the stuff? The answer is money.
It's an aberration for a man to approach someone richer than him.
That's why it's good to do profile check before dating.
A times if numbers weren't given out after sizing the guy's destiny they d say she's rude, she's bla bla bla yenyenyen.
Who nor like better thing?
When there are eligible Bachelors like Paddy Adenug, Okoyya boys, Dantalta family, Danghote family and co to marry from.
Abeg make no sapahead boy disturb me today. I am not responsible for ya hardship. Make you you make legit money before you impregnate or marry any woman.
Aunty be calming down.

U are right and also very wrong.

I and my wife were bankers when we got married. Her salary was more than mine even till date and even when I left the bank to join a federal job.

But my side income brings in 40 to 50million per annum. If I had wanted to keep this a secret my wife wouldn't know.

So,salary isn't everything aunty. Love first and family goal is key to marriage and not ur skin and those things u just mentioned there.

ironically,I don't collect my wife's salary and in fact,I encourage her to save and invest towards retirement.

Do you know?

That the female lions can live up to 16 years; while the male lions live up to 10 years.

The list below are some more, with:

Cat- 23 years

Snakes- 30 years

Dog- 18 years

Horse- 60 years.

Elephant- 70 years

Pig - 20 years

Camel- 40 years

Goat- 18years

Tiger- 25years

Leopard-24years

Shark- 500 years

Crocodile- 45years

Cow- 22years

Parrot- 80years

Ant- 1.5 years & ant queen- 3 years

Frog-10 years

Tortoise - 255 years

Wolf- 23 years

Hippopotamus-50years

Monkeys- 40years

Rabbit- 15 years

Did you also notice that a RABBIT runs, jumps, moves faster and lives for only 15 years, while TORTOISE doesn't even attempt any of such activities, but lives for about 250 years or more.

Life is not about rushing, comparison and doing what others are doing.

Life is about keeping calm and doing what is right and what you are called to do.

Rabbit and tortoise may live in the same forest and play together, they have different life expectancies.
Remember that you have:

Age Mates
Class Mates
School Mates
Office Mates
but you don't have
DESTINY MATE

Be who you are called to be and don't try to be somebody else.

He positioned the health sector in Anambra as the number one health sector in Nigeria.

Back to the topic.

Most of u calling him names here are poor men and women who get angry at whatever he says because of tribalism but nature knows defending the poor is a foolish thing to do.

They will still go out and collect 2k and vote their bad leaders into power.

Oga u are free to say whatever u want to say,I am not a kid...
I am proudly not a poor man...if I were a thief,I would be worth more than a billion but I am not and I shall never be.

My statement was borne out of sympathy for people both here in the city and in my village. A bag of rice,a bag of beans and even a bag of garri I bought for my mum and dad couldn't last up to 4months due to how people come to beg for food on a daily basis.

Same thing is happening around me,there is no time in week I don't spend minimum of 10k for alms but in all,I thank God almighty.

Back to ur question,I am 42 but I am worth a quarter of a billion naira.
Is God not Great.

If they don't dish out news like this,it would appear as if the Chief of staff went their to play.

This is the same lagos-ibadan propaganda they usually unleash on people who have refused to support them.

All this lies would never work because the people are hungry and u are telling us that the economy is doing fine when in reality u met rice at 27k,u met corn at 19k a bag and u met beans at 18k per bag.

U met fuel at 180 -200 naira a litre and u are telling us that ur govt is working.

All those supporting this govt can not use their head for once to think about their future. How can u say the stock exchange has now rebound when the ordinary citizens don't even know what u are saying.

Statistically, the present govt has just rendered 75% of the people in rural areas poorer, while the urban centres have experienced about 40% increase in poverty since Tinubu took over power.

Crime rate has soared beyond comprehension.

Shame on all of u supporting this satanic govt.
