After reading that malaria might even cause one not to conceive and I lasted treated malaria October 2017 after my surgery
I want to treat but I don't want injection
What can I take to treat it?

Well, I don't really know much about drugs but am presently using an ACT antimalarial drug. A combination of artemether and lumefantrine. The price differs depending on the one you can go for.

I saw my AF this weekend after missing my period for 2days, so i decided to treat myself for malaria and typhoid which i've started yesterday but i would like to know if i can continue with my bitterleaf and scent leaf drink while on medication?

I have been taking antimalaria and antibiotic since the beginning of my AF and I intend to follow it up with bitter leaf and scent leaf juice after I finish taking the drugs. Am not sure if it is good to take both together.

Hold on with the HSG till you're sure infection has cleared.

Pelvic scan is an ultra sound scan. Just to check if everything is okay in your pelvic region including organs. HSG on the other hand is an xray used to confirm tubal patency or blockage. Like I wrote before, treat the infection first.

Thank you mama. Myself and dh has started using the drug prescribed by the doctor, and I planned to take bitter leave and scent leave juice after taking the antibiotics. Thanks for the advice.

I haven't done that too. The gynaecologist just asked me to go for hsg. So now am thinking I should do the pelvic scan and HSG together if possible.

I'm expecting AF tomorrow but I've been having cramps since Monday, my breast is so full and my hubby said it looks like ball , temperature sef follow and lost of appetite. It's so unlike me cos i don't usually have menstrual pain.

Was about treating myself for malaria when my mum called, she said i should go to d hospital instead. She said maybe God has answered our prayer. I just dont want to raise my hope high and feel disappointed like last month cos its too early to be depressed and worried. I will continue praying to my father in heaven.

I pray and hope for the best. I'll go to d hospital tomorrow morning. I plan going to the hospital to treat infection yesterday but I was down. I just hope for the best.

May God answer all our prayers soon. Many bfp this month. Amen.

U welcome, HSG is done to know d patency of ur tubes,I.e if they r opened or not.The pelvic scan is to study below ur womb,womb lining,ovaries etc.Pls do the pelvic scan if u haven't, its very important

I would say keep calm, listen to your doctor. Do what he says. Take the antibiotics and other meds he prescribes. It appears you're on the right track.

My view,from ur result, ur egg reserve is OK n ur prolactin level is low(Thank God) ,u ovulated in that cycle provided it was done a week after ovulation ( for a 28day cycle,progesterone level is tested on cycle day 21),I don't know if UV done a pelvic scan but from ur result with the LH:FSH ratio,its more than 1:1,pointing to PCOS,so I'll advice u do a pelvic scan for verification.
Both of u need to be treated for infection,as infection in one is infection in both.i want to believe Ur doctor prescribed d drug due to sensitivity test on ur sample to know which drug best clears d infection.
Ur husband semen analysis is good,great motility n count.
Women hv gone ahead to become pregnant after treating infection,I see o reason for ur inability to get pregnant provided u r not too anxious, anxiety is an enemy of TTC,so relax n enjoy sex,get to be sure of ur ovulation day,God will bless ur womb

Thank you mama. I did the lh,FSH and prolactin on day 3 of my circle and progesterone on day 21 of my cycle. I don't no if the pelvic scan is the same as HSG but I will confirm. We will both start the treatment today. God bless you ma.

Pls, mama's should not overlook my question as am just 10 months old in marriage and don't no much. The doctor just said your result is ok, I only see a little infection and he prescribed ciprofloxacin for myself and dh. And he said I should go for HSG. He didn't say much like he rushing.

So sorry for that, I experienced that last month as well. I had 4days delay and that was the first time. It is well, God will help us.

To God be all the Glory.i have been a silent reader. My irregular period started in 2009, I remember vividly that I ovulated once in 2010, once in 2012, 2013 non, once in 2014, once in 2015 , 2016 non, 2017 non, 2018 non till june when I took femara. Before that I have taking uncountable medication but non seems to work. The only thing I do is just to induce my period in other to feel like a woman.I took herbal drug,metformin,clomid,m2tone but non seems to work. I decided to try femara (self medication) last month June after inducing my period with BCP. I took 7.5mg from cd3-7 and got my BFP today after 2.5years of ttc. I have never been pregnant in my life, it still look like a dream. All glory and adoration to King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Miracle still happens

The day i thought I ovulate was actually not the day i do. Even with opk i never get a positive i ovulate on cd16/17. With the help of tracking i got to know this.
May:- i dewormed myself, used malaria drugs and drank bitterleaf for 3days
June:- Didnt track. Drank bitterleaf from cd1-10. Participated in living faith church's operation 615 currently going on. Started buying maternity wears. Stoped all prenatal drugs
july:- BFP



Indeed there is nothing he can't do and when he sees you are loosing hope he sends someone or signal.

The Lord that did mine will also perfect all that concerms you.

I read something on a group I belong to on Fb where a woman testified that she took cinnamon and milk and got her miracle.

Hello mamas, I have been a silent member of this thread for some years now. I got pregnant in 2016 but lost it at 6months due to Pprom. Since then I have been ttc. I just got my bfp yesterday . In 2016 I used acv and pregnacare conception all through a cycle and got bfp though I lost it. After the loss I noticed that I was not experiencing ovulation symptoms, was always dry and will have dreams of bleeding or blood before af arrives so I knew my issue was both physical and spiritual. I started using anointing oil on my belly every morning declaring God's word concerning fruitfulness, doing a three day fast every cycle and made a vow which I redeemed before the bfp, Physically, I used omega 369 throughout my last cycle but my period came early so this cycle I stopped on ovulation day along side with ordinary pregnacare for its folic acid content. A week to af date I dreamt of bleeding again I woke and started praying using the word of God for fruitfulness Deut28,Ps127 etc. I got my bfp yesterday. So shall it go round each and everyone of us in Jesus mighty name.

No need 2 apologise 4 d long post; we are all here 4 each other.. Try Navy hospital, it's beside Eleven-eleven bus stop or stadium better still. Their price is fair & expertise top notch; from there u can try any other hospital if u r not satisfied. I used them while ttcing & was satisfied w their care. My personal Gynae then was Dr Abeshi..he is a consultant. Goodluck dear

Good evening mama's in the house, I have been a silent follower. We have been ttc for 9 months now. Myself and dh moved to Calabar not too long and we don't no which hospital or clinic to visit to see a gynaecologist. I don't no if any of the mama's in the house can help me. The first clinic we visited in Kogi state that was 4 months into our marriage said it was to early to be worried. He said I should be taking vitamin c, folic acid, omega 3 and evening primrose from the beginning of my period until ovulation. I did that every month and got angry and left all the drug upper month. My period length have always been 27 days every month but this month, I did see it on the 27th day and I was so happy only for it to show on 30th day. I don't no what to do or where to start from. Please anyone that no of any good hospital in Calabar should help tell me. Am sorry for the long story.
