Don’t trade gold for now, because of its high volatility.

Always use 0.01 lot sizing

Don’t go against it, and if you’re to go greedy, never open more an 0.01 positions 3 times!

2. Search for jeafx on YouTube to learn a simple strategy. (Note: There are other good guys out there, but to avoid system hopping, stick to one mentor, it will shorten ur journey by a great length).

3. Read Trading in the zone by Mark Douglas. This book will build your trading psychology

LIFE UPDATE

I finally made my first trade today and I made a whooping $1.15

I'm so happy. Can u believe it?

So guys, today was a happy day for me. As you all know, I have been learning forex trading on my own. It has not been an easy journey. Especially when you have no one to guide you on some stuffs that you need clarity on.

So I have been consistent in my forex trading learning Journey. I finally opened a brokerage account with Exness.

This account opening gave me tough time until I downloaded the Mobile App and opened it from there. I did my verification with them and created both my Demo Account and Real Account

Then I connected it to my MT5.

Omo...this short process I just narrated for you took days o because I had to learn the entire process on my own from the scratch before doing it all.

I continued studying and learning this forex trading, day after day, night after night.

The more I studied it, the more it became fun to me.

I funded my Broker Account days back with $10. Mehn...a whooping N17,600 was equivalent to $10 that day. I almost fainted.

$10 = N17,600

Nigeria is gone.

See how worthless our Nigerian currency has become. It will never be well with all those that spoilt this country. Them and their children. Never.

Anyways, back to my story.

I funded my Account and left it there. Make I just dey look am.

At this point, I didn't even know how to place trade. This bothered me for a long while.

I then took it upon myself to learn more about forex trading and how to place trade.

I finally learnt it.

So today, I said let me try and take my first trade.

With the little knowledge I had acquired, I decided to jump into the LIVE market and trade with my REAL Account.

I have never practiced on a DEMO Account before. No even for once. I decided to jump right into the LIVE Account straight.

I feel that the best way to learn. Jump right into it.

Omo...fear catch me small o.

This is because the best way to learn something you have been studying is to do it LIVE PRACTICALLY.

I was so nervous today. So I prayed to God.

I am a spiritual person and so I believe that Forex trading is spiritual.

I chose to trade the currency pair GBP/USD in the afternoon. I analyzed the market and went in for a BUY on a 0.01 lot size on a 15mins time frame with my $10 account balance.

When I entered the trade, price just started going on a downward trend below my entry price. Everything was just moving so fast. I just started seeing RED numbers moving so fast on the History section of my MT5. I was already making loss.

My $10 already entered $9.50 then to $9.20 etc. Even as I was making loss, I didn't mind. I was so happy. In my mind, I have started trading on a live account. That was my joy.

I took it as Practice trade so that was my consolation.

Then I prayed to God to please help me to make even if it's just $1. Let me not make loss.

Price was just going down and down. It did not even look my face. I was just making loss.

In my mind. It is well. That was how I sat down and was watching as the Market was just moving fast.

Everything was like season film. Price going up and down so fast. It was interesting to watch.

People of God, I decided to close my MT5 and gist small for like 3 mins.

By the time I came back, I just saw one very long Bullish Candle Stick that has formed and boom. I was in PROFIT. I quickly checked my History. I just saw BLUE numbers moving fast.

And from there, Price was going on an Upward Trend from there.

I bagged 115 pips today and made $1.15 on my Live Account.

I'm so happy. I just thank God.

It is well.

From $10, I have grown my small baby account to $11.15.

I just want to use this medium to encourage all those NEWBIE out there like me thinking about trading forex.

You can do it if u really want. But u must try.
Don't listen to people who would come to discourage you. Be open about learning.

In Forex Trading, be open minded. Have in mind that it is a RISK. You can make Profit or Loss. And you need to LEARN the trade first.

Thank God for your little wins too.

We pray not to make loss in trading but I think as a newbie, u need to condition your mind for it, if it ever comes so it doesn't move you and u thank God for it as well.

Nobody taught me Forex Trading. I learnt it on my own. You too can learn on your own. Be determined. Believe in yourself. You are enough.

If there is no one to teach you, teach yourself. You have the brains for it already.

I am still a Newbie. I am still learning so if I can do it, u can do it too.

And last but not the least, believe in God. For it's only God that will guide you in your journey for Forex Trading is Spiritual.

Today I drove him to village and on the way he did the same shouting and telling me to look out for bumps.

This distracts me and makes me lose focus. Out of anger i shouted back at him to keep quiet and allow me drive.
That i have eyes and i can see the bumps

Now i told him that he should never enter my car or unless he will keep quiet and allow me concentrate on my driving.
No talking, he should keep it shut through out the whole journey.

Now he is feeling bad, did i do anything bad??

You were just frustrated as a result of the previous shouting which got to your nerves.

Shouting puts pressure, tension and anxiety on any humanbeing.

It's human psychology.

So imagine such being done when you are driving. It can make one go crazy.

Daddy should learn to trust your judgement while on the wheels and stop shouting on an Adult.

After all, you've been driving this way all along and you are good.

He will understand in future.

Don't think about it.

And if u have money, get him his own personal driver that he can shout on at will.

I think he will like that.
