jadapinket13: Not to cause any argument, below was the statement i made regarding my application for TRV online. @ ChriGo. I did ,mention that i was asked for a new start date.

Got my first admission for fall from Mcgill University for fall semester 2013 for my MSc-4th June 2013
Applied for CAQ- 9th june 2013 ( because my school is in Quebec)
Got my CAQ - 26 June 2013
Submitted paper application through VFS- 4th July 2013
Last date to resume for fall semester-17th Sep 2013
Went to Cdhc to update them on the 3rd Sep and the asked me to bring a new start date
Contacted school for new start date 3d Sep and my program is only for fall so can't differ for winter till fall 2014
Withdrew Application from Cdhc 5th Sep( due to delay in processing my application)
Applied again online 6th September 2013
Applied for winter admission in same school but a different department that has winter intake on 7th Sep 2013
Got a notification on my CIC online for my medicals on the 25th on Sep 2013( less than 3 weeks of submitting my application)
Got notification to submit an extended date to resume or new start date for winter 25th Sep 2013
Done my Medicals on 26th Sep 2013
Now waiting for the new offer later, hope to be ready soon....

ChriGo: ......My brother so sorry for the Late response.....your case dey kinda complicated ooo....cuz you were called for medics at this rushing time....hmmm!!....Medicals takes 1week Min and 4weeks Max so i just dont know how you're gonna beat that.....If your course get May session please differ to be on a safer side....you applied online and i haven't seen wia any Online router is told to bring a New start date....well!! you can be the 1st on this forum sha......buh pls differ ASAP so you would be ready when they ask you to Upload a new start date......

Applied 24th May
Applied as an HOUSEWIFE.
Applied with a lump sum deposit a day to submission.( Good account turnover prior to d deposit)
Medicals- 17th Sept
Further medicals- 4th, Nov
Trv issued- 3rd Jan.

My husband was my sole sponsor.
All Supporting doc were his.


All required forms, family composition form etc
Bank draft
Letter of acceptance
Police clearance cert
University transcripts
Birth certificates(husband's, daughter's and mine)
Landed Properties evaluation
Tax clearance certificates
SOA- 8.5 million.(Savings account)
Company account- 30million
Cash domicilliary account- 33,000 dols.
company. Cert of reg. CO2 and CO7
Audited company's report.
Affidavit of support by husband
Sponsorship letter signed by company's board of Directors.

Management certifications.
Passports showing Travel history.
Lots of prayers( I was discouraged @ some point)


My interviews were more or less hot debates to convince the VO's on
Purpose of visit
My home ties
And that I would return after my studies.

Looking back, I'm grateful for d interviews.



ADVICE.
Never give up in ur pursuit for success.
Challenges, obstacles might rear dier ugly heads, embrace with all boldness. It makes u stronger and refined.
My trv is a testimony to d glory of God.
Pls, always turn in ur application well ahead of time.
Never u tender fake document, if found out, u might be banned for a min of 2yrs without you being aware of their decision.
Overall, never u forget the place of prayers.
May God crown our efforts with success.

To God be the Glory: I got my TRV on December 2, 2013 (2 weeks after medicals on 19th November, 2013)...I've been absent from NL for some time now...cos of some personal reasons...

Our Lady of Perpetual Help...St. Michael, Gabriel & Raphael the Arch-angels...St Rita( Saint of the Impossible and most hopeless cases)....St. Philomena...St. Henry (my Patron saint)...All the Angels and Saints in Heaven, I Thank you for your powerful INTERCESSION before the Almighty God on my behalf thru out the course of my Visa processing which lasted for almost a year (11 months precisely from admission processing to TRV approval).[/b]

ChriGo: ......Few got TRV with ordinary diploma courses...even Nicemax got TRV with a 2nd bsc course....although he was denied the 1st time for same reason.....all i can deduce is that if you are able to give concrete reasons on why you are going for a diploma or a 2nd Bsc then you are good to go....for example you have Bsc Chemical engineering and you're going for a diploma in lets say Chemical Production & Power Engineering Technology.....its gonna be so easier and more convincing to the Visa officer if going for this diploma course......Nicemax had Bsc Statistics and going for another Bsc Computer science .....he was able to show reasons why he wants to go for another Bsc degree........so in conclusion to this, its always good to show convincing reasons why you are going for a diploma course and i do not think the VOs deny based on that......Remember there are other Loopholes to watch out for ........

sunshine_endles: Someone once told me that its so very dificult getting a trv with ordinary diploma, I looked down on that chose ordinary diploma went ahead and applied for my trv in oct but was denied based on purpose of study and lenght of study. All still came down to that fact that u can't get a trv with diploma. Pls if u already have bsc go for pgd and if u do not kindly choose bsc or BA in ur field o.
